One of the most important mobile market premieres is just around the corner. The anniversary model of the iPhone must meet the high expectations of customers accustomed to the very successful devices of competing brands.
For several months, we have seen recurring leaks about the appearance of the new Apple device. The new model has taken a bold step towards changing its design – Apple seems to have slightly felt the hot breath of competition on its neck.
According to leaks, the new iPhone is expected to have significantly smaller bezels around the screen than previous models, as well as several improvements that will allow the new iPhone 8 to compete with devices like the Galaxy S8 or the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. The separate section with the Home button has been eliminated, but it is still uncertain what will happen with the fingerprint reader – whether Apple will implement a biometric sensor built into the display, or if unlocking the new iPhone will only be possible using one’s face. The vertical arrangement of the camera lenses on the back wall looks quite fresh.
This is the first model from the Cupertino giant that will be equipped with wireless charging features and a glass body, something that the competition has already accustomed us to.
Still relying on leaks, in addition to the aforementioned novelties, the iPhone 8 is expected to be equipped with:
- – New A11 processor
- – OLED display (not in all models)
- – New 3D facial recognition technology
- – 4 colors including one «mirror» color
