Best iPhone 18 Pro Max Cases: Ranking of 12 Models

The best case for the iPhone 18 Pro Max is the ESR Cyber Tough Kickstand MagSafe. A rugged hybrid of Poron, TPU, and polycarbonate, with a retractable stand and Military Grade protection. In second place is the Tech-Protect MagPrime MagSafe CC with a camera island cover.

    Ranking in three points:

    • Best overall: ESR Cyber Tough Kickstand MagSafe, which means Poron in the corners, Military Grade, and a retractable stand
    • Most versatile: Tech-Protect MagPrime MagSafe CC, a matte hybrid with a camera island cover
    • Best transparent: ESR Classic Hybrid MagSafe Frosted, acrylic that does not yellow

We know how it looks with every premiere. The phone hasn’t even hit the market yet, and you’re already looking for something to protect it from the first drop on the sidewalk.

Do cases from the iPhone 17 Pro Max fit the 18 Pro Max?

Yes, the cases fit both models, but the camera covers do not. Accessory manufacturers describe the new cases as compatible with both generations. The reason is simple: the phone’s body retains the same dimensions, the same button layout, and the same cutouts. The same signal was sent by OtterBox, whose packaging claims compatibility of the cases with the iPhone 17 Pro and 18 Pro.

It is visible in the product names. Practically every case in our category has the suffix “for Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max / 18 Pro Max». One case, two models. It works both ways, as you will find the same designs in the iPhone 17 Pro Max case category.

With camera covers, it’s the opposite. The camera island is expected to grow from 11.23 to 11.54 mm, and those three tenths of a millimeter will be enough for the cover from the seventeenth to stop fitting the lenses. The numbers come from leaks in the supply chain, not from Apple’s official specifications. However, our catalog confirms it: camera glasses are described separately by manufacturers, only for the eighteenth, although the cases are left common.

Disclaimer: we are writing before the Apple conference scheduled for September 9, 2026. Compatibility is based on statements from case manufacturers and leaks. Individual reports mention a body thicker by about 0.25 mm, which would be influenced by a larger battery and vapor chamber. With a flexible TPU frame, such a difference may not be a problem, but cases from the seventeenth could then stop fitting. We will update the text after the premiere.

More about the phone itself, the sales date, and the expected specifications can be found in our guide to the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max premiere.

What to pay attention to when choosing a case for iPhone 18 Pro Max

Five things determine whether the case will serve you well or end up in the drawer after a week.

MagSafe magnets. The iPhone has its own magnetic ring, but cases without built-in magnets disperse its strength. The charger then does not center properly, and the car mount can let go on a speed bump. Look for the description «built-in magnetic ring,» not just «compatible with wireless charging.»

Camera Control button. The touch strip on the right edge responds to a swipe. A thick layer of plastic above it kills half of the functionality. Good cases have a thin membrane or a cutout in this area.

Camera island protection. The camera module in the Pro Max protrudes above the back and is the first to touch the surface. The raised frame around the island is more important than the raised edge near the screen.

Material. TPU is a flexible rubber that absorbs drops and is easy to put on. Polycarbonate (PC) is rigid, does not yellow, and maintains transparency better. The best cases combine both: a soft TPU frame plus a hard PC back.

Stand. Sounds like a gadget. For the first episode of a series watched on the train.

Ranking: 12 best cases for iPhone 18 Pro Max

We established the order based on four criteria: real protection (material, drop tests, device island shield), MagSafe handling and Camera Control button, availability on hand, and the protection-to-thickness ratio. We excluded sold-out models, even those that would technically rank high. There are no Spigen, UAG, or PITAKI offerings for this model, so the ranking is based on ESR, Tech-Protect, Benks, 3mk, and licensed brands.

    1. ESR Cyber Tough Kickstand MagSafe: rugged with a stand

    Our overall choice

Three materials in one case: Poron in the corners, TPU on the frame, and polycarbonate on the back. Poron is a foam used in sports shoe inserts that absorbs impact energy and returns to shape.

ESR declares Military Grade protection and Air Guard technology for this series, which means air cushions in the corners. It is the corner that takes the first impact when the phone falls flat on the edge.

This is the most rugged case for the iPhone 18 Pro Max in our lineup.

The stand is built into the back and slides out with one finger. The case supports the Camera Control button, and swiping on the bar works just like without the case.

For whom: if the phone travels with you to construction sites, on a bike, or simply often lands on hard surfaces.

Cons: the three-material construction is thicker than a classic hybrid. You can feel this case in your pocket.

    2. Tech-Protect MagPrime MagSafe CC: matte with camera cover

The abbreviation «CC» in the name stands for Camera Cover, which means an integrated cover for the camera island. This is a response to one of the most common inquiries regarding Pro Max models, as the camera module scratches faster than the screen.

The construction is a classic hybrid. The flexible TPU frame absorbs shock, while the rigid polycarbonate back maintains its shape and does not warp. The built-in magnetic ring catches the charger without searching for the position.

The matte coating does not collect fingerprints like glossy versions. Camera Control is operated by a thin membrane that is sensitive to touch.

For whom: for most people. This is the most universal option in the lineup if you are looking for one case for everything.

    3. ESR Classic Hybrid MagSafe Frosted: acrylic back that does not yellow

Instead of ESR polycarbonate, acrylic is used here, a material more resistant to yellowing under UV rays. This is a real problem for transparent cases, especially those made of cheap TPU.

The frosted finish is a matte haze on the back. The phone is translucent, but without a mirror effect and without fingerprints.

ESR provides the same Military Grade protection and the same Air Guard cushions in the corners as in the Cyber Tough model. The difference is in thickness, not in the level of protection.

For whom: if you want to see the color of the phone, but without a glossy finish.

    [hs_products ids=»143073,142340,143059″ cols=»3″ title=»Top three in the ranking»]

    4. Benks Magnetic Lucid Armor Pro: tested from a drop of one and a half meters

Benks provides specifics instead of generalities: the case passed Anti-Crash tests from a height of 5 feet, which is about 152 cm. That’s the distance from your hand to the sidewalk when you’re walking and looking at the screen.

The air cushion InvisiWarrior in the corners is responsible for cushioning. Neodymium magnets are arranged so that the MagSafe charger connects without shifting.

The raised frame around the camera island protects the lenses when placing the phone on a surface. The buttons are clickable, with a noticeable click.

For whom: if you want hard data on durability, not marketing claims.

Note: the top models of Benks with exposed Kevlar 600D fiber and MIL-STD-810H certification are currently sold out. If you’re looking for Kevlar, check position seven.

    5. Tech-Protect MagStand MagSafe CC: transparent with a metal stand

The stand is metal and foldable in two axes: vertically for video calls, horizontally for movies. This solution is more convenient than a ring, as the phone stands stably on both sides.

The rest of the construction is a proven hybrid of TPU and polycarbonate with a camera cover and built-in MagSafe. The manufacturer boasts easy assembly and disassembly, which is not obvious with rigid backs.

For whom: if you watch content while traveling and do not want to carry a separate stand.

Cons: the metal leg adds a few grams and slightly protrudes when laying the phone flat.

    6. 3mk Misty MagCase: slim, in four colors

Polish brand, transparent-matte finish and a design that adds almost no bulk. The material is TPU with polycarbonate elements, featuring a built-in magnetic ring.

Raised edges protect the screen and camera. The matte surface reduces the slipping of the phone in hand, and the Pro Max tends to slip easily. There are four colors: black, blue, orange, and white.

For whom: if you buy the Pro Max for its appearance and do not want to hide it under armor.

    [hs_products ids=»143278,142970,141330″ cols=»3″ title=»Pancerne, z podstawką i smukłe: pozycje 4-6″]

    7. Tech-Protect Kevlar MagSafe 2-Set: protection from the front and back

The name “2-Set” can be misleading, so let’s clarify: these are not two cases. In the box, you will find one case and two interchangeable front frames, one with a polycarbonate glass and one without it.

The frame with glass encloses the phone in 360-degree protection, also from the screen side. The frame without glass leaves the screen exposed if you prefer your own tempered glass. Changing it takes just a few seconds.

The material is polycarbonate with TPU in a weave resembling kevlar, with a foldable kickstand on the back. The construction is surprisingly lightweight for a 360-type case.

For whom: if you are looking for a rugged case for the iPhone 18 Pro Max with the option to remove the front frame for everyday use.

    8. Mercury BlueMoon Diary MagSafe: with a flap that also protects the screen

    [hs_products ids=»143254,142447,142956″ cols=»3″ title=»Kevlar, klapka i skóra: pozycje 7-9″]

    10. Guess Embossed 4G Classic MagSafe: najpopularniejsza marka modowa

Guess to najczęściej wyszukiwana marka modowych etui do iPhone’ów Pro Max i widać dlaczego. Skóra ekologiczna z tłoczonym wzorem 4G, klasyczne logo pośrodku, w środku warstwy TPU i poliwęglanu.

To nie jest wyłącznie ozdoba. Dopasowane wymiary amortyzują upadki, elastyczne boki ułatwiają zakładanie, a magnesy MagSafe działają bez adapterów.

Warto to sprawdzić przed dokupieniem ochrony ekranu.

Which case to choose for iPhone 18 Pro Max? Recommendations based on needs

    • You want a rugged case for iPhone 18 Pro Max: ESR Cyber Tough Kickstand or Tech-Protect Kevlar 2-Set. The first is more convenient for everyday use, the second encloses the phone from all sides.
    • You are looking for a transparent case for iPhone 18 Pro Max: ESR Classic Hybrid Frosted or 3mk Misty MagCase. Both showcase the color of the casing and do not collect fingerprints.
    • You are looking for a case for iPhone 18 Pro Max with camera protection: Tech-Protect MagPrime CC or MagStand CC. The integrated island cover protects the lenses with every phone placement.
    • You watch movies while traveling: Tech-Protect MagStand with a metal stand in two axes.
    • You carry cards together with your phone: Mercury BlueMoon Diary, the only flap with working MagSafe in this comparison.
    • The case should be part of your styling: Guess Embossed 4G Classic, Karl Lagerfeld Choupette Head or Mercedes Leather Semi Wrap.
    • You need anything for now: Bizon Case Salpa, with the caveat of no magnets.

What to complement the case for iPhone 18 Pro Max

Here we return to the matter we mentioned at the beginning. The case from the seventeenth fits, but the camera cover does not, as the camera island has grown.

To akurat dobra wiadomość dla portfela. Zamiast kompletu akcesoriów dokupujesz jedną rzecz, a osłony skatalogowane pod iPhone’a 18 Pro Max mają w nazwie właśnie ten model, bez dopisku o siedemnastej.

Do wyboru masz trzy podejścia. Tech-Protect CamAlloy Fit to metalowa ramka na całą wyspę, Tech-Protect CamFull Fit zakrywa moduł jedną szybą, a ESR Armorite Camera Protector osłania każdy obiektyw osobno.

The screen is a separate issue. Apart from the Mercury with a flap and the Tech-Protect Kevlar 2-Set with a front frame, none of the cases in this ranking protect the display, so it’s worth adding tempered glass right away. Verified options are ESR UltraFit Armorite and Tech-Protect Quick Set, both in packs of two.

    [hs_products ids=»143079,143223,143084,142076,142078,143272″ cols=»3″ title=»Screen glasses and camera shields for iPhone 18 Pro Max»]

Are you buying everything at once? The most convenient is the ready-made set ESR Classic Hybrid MagSafe with tempered glass 9H and a mounting applicator included. ESR adds a tip that works with any brand of glass: install it in the bathroom right after a bath. The steam will collect dust from the air beforehand.

Summary: the best cases for iPhone 18 Pro Max at a glance

The choice of a case for the iPhone 18 Pro Max comes down to four conclusions.

    1. The case from the iPhone 17 Pro Max fits the eighteen. Manufacturers describe the cases as common for both generations because the body retains its dimensions. If you are switching from the seventeen, you do not need to buy a new case.
    2. The camera cover is a separate purchase. The camera island is expected to grow from 11.23 to 11.54 mm, and the cover from the predecessor will no longer fit.
    3. The most universal choice is the Tech-Protect MagPrime MagSafe CC. A hybrid of TPU and polycarbonate with a camera cover and full MagSafe closes the topic for most people.
    4. If protection is a priority, choose the ESR Cyber Tough Kickstand. Poron in the corners, Military Grade class, and a stand on the back.

We will update the text after the Apple conference on September 9, 2026, when we will know the official dimensions of the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

FAQ: najczęstsze pytania o etui do iPhone’a 18 Pro Max

Czy etui z iPhone’a 17 Pro Max pasuje do 18 Pro Max?

Tak. Producenci akcesoriów opisują obudowy jako wspólne dla obu modeli, bo korpus zachowuje te same wymiary i układ przycisków. Osłony wyspy aparatu są już osobne.

Jakie etui do iPhone’a 18 Pro Max jest najbardziej wytrzymałe?

ESR Cyber Tough Kickstand MagSafe z pianką Poron w narożnikach i ochroną klasy Military Grade.

Does every iPhone 18 Pro Max case support MagSafe?

No. Cases without a built-in magnetic ring, like the Bizon Case Salpa, support wireless charging, but the charger won’t stick magnetically. Look for the term “MagSafe» or “Mag» in the product name.

When is the iPhone 18 Pro Max release?

Apple will showcase the phone on September 9, 2026, during the “Surprise and shine» conference. The date has been confirmed by the company itself, and sales should start in the second half of September.

Does the case protect the Camera Control button?

Well-designed cases do. ESR, Tech-Protect, and Benks models from this ranking have a touch-sensitive membrane in this area that transmits finger swipes.

Do I need glass for the camera if the case has a raised edge?

The raised edge protects against scratches on surfaces, but not against point impacts on the lens. With a module protruding above the back, camera glass makes sense, as its replacement costs a fraction of the camera repair price.

Does a flip case hinder wireless charging?

No, if the case has built-in magnets, like the Mercury BlueMoon Diary. Cases without MagSafe may require tilting the front part during charging.

  • Galaxy S26 FE vs S25 FE: what has really changed?

Galaxy S26 FE vs S25 FE: what has really changed?

In comparison Galaxy S26 FE vs S25 FE, the differences come down to three things: the Exynos 2500 processor instead of 2400, the One UI 9 system instead of One UI 8, and the USB port, which has reverted to version 2.0. The screen, all three cameras, selfie, and the 4,900 mAh battery are identical.

The S26 FE was launched on August 27, 2026, and sales start on September 4.

Place both phones side by side, and you won’t distinguish them without looking into the settings. Samsung has transferred almost all the hardware from last year and raised the price.

Below is the full table of both models, resolving the circulating rumor about the silicon-carbon battery, which is even repeated in the specification tables, and a section about accessories: what fits which model and why the case from S25 FE won’t fit on S26 FE.

When each model entered the market

Both phones debuted at the same time of the year, with less than twelve months apart. The Galaxy S25 FE had its premiere and sales start on the same day, while the S26 FE got a week break between the two.

Nine different positions out of twenty-five. Of these, five are cosmetics (dimensions, weight, colors, charging speed, version number of One UI), two are steps back, and the performance gain comes from the processor along with the graphics chip.

What does Exynos 2500 provide in everyday use?

Exynos 2500 is the only noticeable change in daily use. The chip is built on the second generation of the 3 nm GAA process, while Exynos 2400 from S25 FE used 4 nm.

    Performance gain according to Samsung:

    • About 30% faster processor (CPU) and graphics chip (GPU)
    • About 40% faster NPU, responsible for Galaxy AI functions
    • Newer main core: Cortex-X925 instead of Cortex-X4
    • Newer graphics chip: Xclipse 950 instead of Xclipse 940

NPU is more important here than it looks on paper. It counts the Galaxy AI functions, such as summaries, real-time translations, and photo processing. If you actually use Galaxy AI, that’s the biggest difference in the entire comparison.

Note: 30% on paper does not mean a 30% faster phone. Both models perform practically the same in everyday tasks, such as browsing, social media, and photos. The difference reveals itself in gaming and under prolonged load.

The screen and cameras remain unchanged

There’s nothing to write about here, and that’s the most important information.

The screen parameters are identical: 6.7 inches, Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 1080 × 2340, refresh rate from 60 to 120 Hz, declared brightness of 1,900 nits, Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The camera setup is identical, sensor by sensor:

    • Main 50 MP, f/1.8, with optical stabilization (OIS)
    • Ultrawide 12 MP, f/2.2, field of view 123°
    • Telephoto 8 MP, 3× optical zoom, with OIS
    • Selfie 12 MP, f/2.2

Video recording is also unchanged: 8K at 30 fps and 4K at 120 fps in both models.

Bateria bez zmian i bez ogniwa silicon-carbon

    Oba telefony mają 4 900 mAh, tę samą moc ładowania przewodowego 45 W i bezprzewodowego 15 W.

Real profit during operation comes not from the cell, but from a more efficient 3 nm processor. Samsung claims about an hour longer video playback, and the EU energy label states 50 hours of operation compared to 42.5 hours in the S25 FE and class A instead of B.

The difference in charging is cosmetic: 69% in 30 minutes compared to 65% in the S25 FE. Four percentage points.

Hidden downside: the battery will last fewer cycles

This is not advertised by Samsung, and it directly results from the EU energy label. The cell in the S26 FE is certified for 1,200 charging cycles, while in the S25 FE it is 2,000. A cycle is a full charge from zero to one hundred percent; after exceeding this limit, the battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity.

In practice, 1,200 cycles still mean several years of normal use. However, it is worth knowing that with seven years of system support, the battery will deplete its certified reserve much earlier than the updates.

To achieve the full 45 W, both models require the same USB Power Delivery charger (USB PD) with a power of at least 45 W. When purchasing accessories, you do not need to distinguish between generations.

USB port is the first step backward

The Galaxy S26 FE has a USB-C port in 2.0 standard, while the S25 FE had USB 3.2 Gen 1. This is the second point, alongside battery life, where the newer model performs worse than its predecessor.

Loading works just as fast, because power does not depend on the data standard version. Only file transfer is slower.

The scale of this difference is impressive only with specifics. A minute of 8K video weighs several hundred megabytes, so an hour of material is several dozen gigabytes. With USB 3.2 Gen 1, you can transfer it in a few minutes, while with USB 2.0, the phone will stay connected to the computer for much longer.

If you use the cloud or transfer photos wirelessly, you won’t notice the difference.

System and updates, or the difference of one year

Galaxy S26 FE starts with One UI 9 on Android 17, while S25 FE debuted with One UI 8 on Android 16.

Both generations have the same support policy: seven generations of Android and seven years of security patches. However, since S26 FE starts a year later, its support ends a year later.

This is a real advantage of the newer model, although in practice it means choosing between a phone supported until 2032 and one supported until 2033. S25 FE will still receive One UI 9 in an update.

Here lies the real difference between the models

The starting prices of both models in Europe:

VersionGalaxy S25 FE at launchGalaxy S26 FE at launch
    8 GB / 128 GB750 EUR799 EUR
    8 GB / 256 GB810 EUR899 EUR
    8 GB / 512 GB930 EUR1 099 EUR

Samsung S26 FE is more expensive at every memory level. The increase grows with capacity: 49 EUR for the base version, 89 EUR for 256 GB, and as much as 169 EUR for 512 GB.

However, something else is key. The Galaxy S25 FE has been on the market for a year and has clearly dropped in price. The actual level of reduction depends on the store and promotions, but you can buy the older model today noticeably cheaper than on the day of its release, while the S26 FE is just starting with a full price list.

Combine this with the specification table: you get the same screen, the same camera setup, the same battery, and a faster USB port, paying significantly less. For most people, the Galaxy S25 FE is a more sensible purchase today.

Galaxy S26 FE vs S25 FE: which one to choose?

    Choose Galaxy S26 FE if:

    • You regularly use Galaxy AI features, as the NPU has gained the most here.
    • You game and want power reserves for a few years ahead.
    • You care about the longest possible support, until 2033.
    • You buy a phone for six or seven years and the price difference is spread over that period.

    Choose Galaxy S25 FE if:

    • You are looking at the price-to-performance ratio. The screen, cameras, and battery are identical, and you pay significantly less.
    • You transfer large files via cable, as only this model has a fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 port.
    • You do not use AI features intensively enough to feel the faster NPU.

Our choice: with today’s price difference, the Galaxy S25 FE wins for most buyers. The Galaxy S26 FE makes sense if you plan to keep the phone until the end of the support period or heavily use Galaxy AI.

If you are considering stronger models from this family, we have compared them in the comparison Galaxy S26 Ultra and S25 Ultra.

Accessories: does the case from Galaxy S25 FE fit S26 FE?

It does not fit and it’s not worth trying. This is the first question that arises when changing generations, and here the answer is clear.

The difference in dimensions is 0.3 mm in height and 0.3 mm in width, and according to Android Authority, Samsung has slightly redesigned the camera island. The thickness is identical (7.4 mm), so soft cases from the previous model can often be stretched, but:

    • The camera cutouts do not align in the same place. With the changed island, part of the lens may be covered.
    • The buttons do not align with the cutouts, making clicking uncomfortable.
    • Rigid cases crack at the corner when trying to stretch them.

It’s the same with tempered glasses. The diagonal and resolution have not changed, but the 0.3 mm wider front means that the glass for the S25 FE will not cover the screen evenly, and the glue will partially hit the edge.

Note: manufacturers released dedicated versions for the S26 FE even before the phone went on sale, so there’s no reason to compromise. Choose accessories described exactly for the model you have.

Magnets: a common problem for both generations

Neither the Galaxy S25 FE nor the S26 FE have built-in magnets. Both charge wirelessly in the Qi2 standard at 15 W, but neither will attract itself to the charger or holder.

W obu przypadkach rozwiązanie jest to samo: etui z pierścieniem magnetycznym. Zakładasz je i telefon zaczyna trzymać się ładowarek Qi2, powerbanków magnetycznych, uchwytów samochodowych i portfeli na karty. Ten sam mechanizm opisaliśmy przy iPhone’ie 16e bez MagSafe.

Akcesoria magnetyczne pasujące do obu modeli znajdziesz w kategoriach ładowarki indukcyjne oraz akcesoria MagSafe.

    Accessories for Galaxy S25 FE

    Summary

Galaxy S26 FE is a remarkably cautious update. Samsung has transferred almost all the hardware from its predecessor. The processor, system, and USB port have changed. The screen, all cameras, and battery have been carried over unchanged.

    Three things worth remembering:

    1. The real gain comes only from the processor. Exynos 2500 is about 30% faster in CPU and GPU and 40% in NPU, which is mainly noticeable in games and Galaxy AI features.
    2. There are two steps back, not one. The USB port has reverted to version 2.0, and the certified battery lifespan has dropped from 2,000 to 1,200 charge cycles.
    3. The price tips the scales in favor of S25 FE. With the same screen, cameras, and battery, the older model is now noticeably cheaper.

Regardless of the choice, both phones are worth complementing with the same: a case with a magnetic ring, as neither has built-in magnets, and tempered glass, as Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects against scratches, not drops.

FAQ: Galaxy S26 FE and S25 FE

Is it worth paying extra for Galaxy S26 FE?

Usually not. The screen, all three cameras, and the battery are identical to the S25 FE, and the newer model has a slower USB port. The extra cost makes sense if you use Galaxy AI intensively or want the longest support, which is until 2033.

When is the Galaxy S26 FE premiere and when does sales start?

The premiere took place on August 27, 2026, when Samsung showcased the phone and provided the full specification. Sales start on September 4, 2026.

What distinguishes the Galaxy S26 FE from the S25 FE?

Three things: the processor (Exynos 2500 in 3 nm instead of Exynos 2400 in 4 nm), the operating system at launch (One UI 9 on Android 17 instead of One UI 8), and the USB port, which has reverted from 3.2 Gen 1 to 2.0. The screen, cameras, selfie, and 4,900 mAh battery are identical.

Does the Galaxy S26 FE have a silicon-carbon battery?

There is no confirmation from the manufacturer. Samsung does not mention silicon-carbon in the official specification, and SamMobile writes about a regular lithium-ion cell of 4,900 mAh, although some databases label it as Si/C. It is certain that in July 2026, this technology was received exclusively by foldable models: Z Flip 8, Z Fold 8, and Z Fold 8 Ultra.

Does the case from the Galaxy S25 FE fit the S26 FE?

No. The new model is 0.3 mm taller and wider, and the camera island has been slightly redesigned. The cutouts for the camera and buttons do not align in the same place, so you need a case dedicated to the specific model.

Does the Galaxy S26 FE have magnets for MagSafe?

No, just like the S25 FE. Both phones charge wirelessly using the Qi2 standard at 15 W, but they do not have a built-in ring of magnets. The magnets are added by the case, such as the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Mag or UAG Scout MagSafe.

Which phone has a longer battery life?

The Galaxy S26 FE, but the difference is small. The capacity is identical (4,900 mAh), and the gain comes from the more efficient 3 nm processor. Samsung claims about an hour longer video playback.

Premiera iPhone’a 18 Pro i 18 Pro Max: co pokaże Apple

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will debut on September 9, 2026 during the «Surprise and shine» conference at Apple Park. The date has been confirmed by Apple itself. Along with them, we will see the first foldable iPhone, two new watches, and AirPods 5. The basic iPhone 18 will not be at this conference, it will debut in spring 2027.

Apple splits the year into two parts and for the first time shows a phone with a foldable screen. Instead of four premieres in September, we will get three, all from the highest shelf.

Below: what will appear, what will be missing, and when sales will start. Finally, a question that we hear most often in the accessories store, whether the case from the iPhone 17 Pro will fit the eighteen.

Note: the article was created before the conference. Apple confirmed the date and the event itself. Specifications, prices, and model lists come from leaks. We will update the text on September 9, after the presentation.

When is the premiere of the iPhone 18 Pro? Date, pre-sale, and start of sales

The conference will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM Polish time. Apple sent invitations on August 26 and published the event on its website. You can watch the broadcast on apple.com, on YouTube, and in the Apple TV app.

The sale dates have not yet been announced, but they follow Apple’s long-standing pattern.

“Surprise and shine” conferenceWednesday, September 9, 2026, 7:00 PMconfirmed by Apple
    Pre-order startSaturday, September 12, 2026expected
    Sales startFriday, September 18, 2026expected

One detail in this schedule is unusual. Pre-orders usually start on the first Friday after the conference, which would be September 11. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the 2001 attacks, and Apple consistently avoids this date for commercial launches.

The same maneuver was executed by the company in 2015 with the iPhone 6s, shifting the order start to Saturday. Poland was included in the first wave of iPhone 17 sales (September 19, 2025), so September 18 is a realistic date for us as well.

What will Apple show on September 9? Six devices

According to Bloomberg, we will see six new products at the conference. Three of them are phones.

    DeviceWhat to expect
iPhone 18 Pro6.3″, A20 Pro, narrower Dynamic Island (controversial)
iPhone 18 Pro Max6.9″, largest battery in iPhone history, variable aperture
iPhone 18 Ultrafirst foldable iPhone, 7.6–7.8″ screen inside
Apple Watch Series 12new processor, longer battery life, possible ceramic case
Apple Watch Ultra 4Maps and photos via satellite
AirPods 5two variants: with ANC and without

All six items are leaks. Apple has only confirmed the date and the fact of the event.

The name of the foldable model is not certain. In leaks, it is referred to as iPhone Fold, but internally Apple is said to use the term iPhone Ultra; in our store, you will find it as iPhone 18 Ultra.

What we won’t see at the conference

This is just as important as the list of premieres. Base iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 are set to debut only in spring 2027, most likely in March or April. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, iPhone Air 2 was never planned for 2026, so this is not a delay, but a new rhythm of releases.

There will also be a lack of several other things:

    • Apple Watch SE 4 will not appear this year.
    • iPad mini, iMac and MacBook Pro are expected in the fall, outside of the September conference.
    • Face ID under the screen will not make it to the iPhone 18 Pro. The technology is not ready.

What does this mean in practice: if you are waiting for a cheaper iPhone from this generation, September will not give you anything. The real choice for the fall is the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, or the discounted seventeen.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max: what is changing

The diagonals remain unchanged: 6.3 inches for the Pro version and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max. Changes are inside and in the camera.

Cztery zmiany zasługują na osobny komentarz.

Zmienna przysłona w aparacie głównym. To pierwszy taki mechanizm w iPhonie. Funkcję zapowiedział Ming-Chi Kuo, a koreański ETNews donosił w kwietniu 2026 o starcie produkcji aktuatorów. Zmienna przysłona daje ręczną kontrolę nad głębią ostrości i lepiej radzi sobie po zmroku. Część przecieków sugeruje, że trafi wyłącznie do wersji Pro Max.

Węższa Dynamic Island. Ice Universe claims that the island will slim down by about 35%, from 20.7 mm to 13.5 mm. Digital Chat Station denies this and pushes the change to the iPhone 19. This is the most contentious point of the entire leak.

Camera Control is set to be simplified. According to Instant Digital, the button will lose its capacitive layer and will only respond to pressure. For the case, this is irrelevant, as the cutout remains in place.

Colors of the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max

Reports from the supply chain mention four finishes, each with an assigned Pantone code: Dark Cherry (wine red with a purple undertone), Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver. The palette is common for both models.

On the left, color renderings; on the right, production line mockups. Source: Macworld and MacRumors

Dark Cherry is set to replace Cosmic Orange as the primary color, which you will see in all promotional materials. The orange from the seventeenth generation is being discontinued.

Foldable iPhone 18 Ultra: Apple’s first such phone

This is the most anticipated element of the conference. Apple enters the foldable phone market seven years after Samsung and immediately aims for the high end.

Mockup i zdjęcie z przecieku pokazują dwa aparaty i brak teleobiektywu.

    Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4 i AirPods 5

Both watches will receive at least the S11 processor, longer battery life, and improvements in activity tracking. Mark Gurman announces no changes in appearance compared to Series 11 and Ultra 3.

The distinguishing feature of Ultra 4 is expected to be satellite functions: Apple Maps via satellite and sending and receiving photos in Messages without network coverage. For those hiking in the mountains, this is a significant change, not just cosmetic.

There will be no Touch ID in the watch, a band with health sensors, or blood sugar measurement. The latter feature is expected to appear only around 2030. There will also be no Apple Watch SE 4.

If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the wait, our comparison of Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3 will be helpful. You can find bands and screen protection for both series in the Apple Watch category.

AirPods 5: again two variants, with ANC and without

Apple is expected to show two models of AirPods 5: with active noise cancellation and without it. References to both variants were found in the code of macOS 26.7.

There is also a version circulating about the H3 chip, which would reduce audio latency and improve battery life. This is still speculation, not confirmed information.

Heart rate measurement is reserved for Pro models. If you are looking for headphones with health features, the direction remains AirPods Pro 3.

iPhone 18 Pro, price in Poland: how much will it cost?

No one knows the price yet. The reference point is the current Apple price list. iPhone 17 Pro starts at 5,799 PLN, 17 Pro Max at 6,299 PLN, both prices for the 256 GB version. For the Pro Max with 2 TB, you will pay 10,299 PLN.

Analysts are predicting a price increase. The main forecast (Jeff Pu) suggests 250–300 dollars more than the seventeen, although some analysts are betting on 100–200 dollars. In a pessimistic scenario, the iPhone 18 Pro in Poland would start around 6,800 PLN.

It is worth debunking one myth circulating online: 2 nm lithography chips are not twice as expensive. TSMC has raised the price of the N2 wafer by 10–20% compared to N3. The “50%” figure refers to the camera module with a variable aperture, not the processor.

Will the case from the iPhone 17 Pro fit the 18 Pro?

This gets interesting, as the answer is different for the case and different for camera protection.

Case: most likely yes. OtterBox has already introduced cases described as fitting both the iPhone 17 Pro and 18 Pro. Matt Ronge from Astropad hears the same from suppliers: the body is expected to remain the same dimensions, with an unchanged button layout and cutouts.

Comparison of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro dummies showing the same dimensions

Dummy of the iPhone 17 Pro (on the left) compared to the dummy of the iPhone 18 Pro. Source: Vadim Yuryev via MacRumors

The same is visible in our offer. Cases that have made it to the iPhone 18 Pro category have the suffix “for Apple iPhone 18 Pro / 17 Pro” in their names, one case for two models. This is how products from Tech-Protect, Benks, as well as the Guess and Karl Lagerfeld series are described.

Camera protection: no longer. We have lens island and glass covers available separately for the iPhone 18 Pro, even though the cases are common. The camera island grows from 11.23 to 11.54 mm, and that is enough for the cover from the seventeen to no longer fit.

Note: not all leaks agree. A report attributed to Tata mentions a body thicker by 2 mm, i.e., 9.9–10.9 mm instead of 8.75 mm in the iPhone 17 Pro. If true, no case from the seventeen would fit. Mark Gurman also called the display of cases for the 18 Pro on Best Buy shelves “a bit premature.” We will have certainty on September 9.

You can also find the full offer in the category iPhone 18 Pro Max. The category of accessories for the foldable iPhone 18 Ultra will be filled after the premiere when Apple provides the official dimensions.

If you are transitioning from an older model, a review of MagSafe accessories will be useful. The standard does not change between generations, so you can transfer magnetic chargers and power banks without additional purchases.

    Summary

The Apple conference will take place on September 9, 2026, at 19:00 Polish time. Apart from the official pricing of the current generation, this is the only confirmed information in this article. The rest are leaks of varying degrees of credibility.

    Four things worth remembering:

    1. We will see three phones, not four. iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the foldable iPhone 18 Ultra. The basic eighteen, model 18e, and iPhone Air 2 will debut in spring 2027.
    2. The biggest change is the camera, not the screen. The variable aperture is the first of its kind in iPhone history and may only be available on the Pro Max.
    3. Foldable iPhone ditches Face ID. Touch ID returns in the power button, and the price is expected to start at around $2,000.
    4. iPhone 17 Pro cases should fit, camera covers do not. Manufacturers describe the cases as common for both generations, but the camera island protection has been prepared separately.

We will update the article on September 9, when Apple will provide the official specifications, prices, and sales dates in Poland. It’s worth revisiting our comparison of iPhone 16 Pro and 17 Pro to assess whether the upgrade makes sense.

FAQ: most common questions about iPhone 18 Pro

When is the iPhone 18 Pro premiere?

The iPhone 18 Pro will be unveiled on September 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM Polish time during the “Surprise and shine” conference. The date has been confirmed by Apple. Sales should start on Friday, September 18, with pre-orders beginning on Saturday, September 12.

Will there be a regular iPhone 18?

Not at the September conference. The basic iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 are expected to debut in spring 2027, likely in March or April.

How much will the iPhone 18 Pro cost? Price in Poland

The price has not been announced. The current iPhone 17 Pro costs from 5,799 PLN in Poland, and the main forecast from analysts suggests an increase of around 250–300 dollars. This would start at around 6,800 PLN.

Will the foldable iPhone be released this year?

Yes, according to all leaks, it will debut on September 9 along with the Pro series. It is expected to be called iPhone Ultra, have a 7.8-inch screen when unfolded, and feature Touch ID instead of Face ID. Price estimates start at around 2,000 dollars.

Does the case from the iPhone 17 Pro fit the iPhone 18 Pro?

It has a profile of 15 V / 3 A, supports PPS, and features a display where you can check the actual charging power. A safe choice is the original Samsung charger EP-T4511 45 W. For both, purchase a USB-C 5 A cable, as without it, the phone will not reach 45 W.

The Z Fold 8 Ultra has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 45 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging. It sounds simple, but the charger market is full of 65 W and 100 W bricks that throttle down to 25 W in Samsung devices.

Below you will find three parameters that must be on the box, a fourth condition often overlooked by manufacturers, and a ranking of 7 chargers with an output profile table.

Three parameters that must be on the box

When buying a charger for the Z Fold 8 Ultra, look for three things at once. The absence of even one will revert the phone to a slower mode.

Power: 45 W or more. A more powerful charger won’t hurt. The phone draws exactly what it needs, and a 65 W or 100 W brick operates cooler than a 45 W brick pushed to its limits. If you’re looking for the smallest high-power designs, check out our ranking of GaN chargers.

PPS: a necessary condition. Programmable Power Supply allows for smooth voltage and current regulation instead of jumping between fixed thresholds. Without PPS, a 45 W charger throttles down to 15–25 W in Samsung devices, as the phone cannot activate Super Fast Charging 2.0 mode.

    Зарядка 45 W требует кабеля USB-C к USB-C с током 5 A и e-marker.

Super Fast Charging 2.0.

This explains the most common complaint from users of foldable phones: «I bought a stronger charger, but the phone charges slower than before.» Usually, the culprit is the cable included in the set.

The battery has increased from 4,400 mAh in the previous generation to 5,000 mAh thanks to silicon-carbon cells. With a larger cell, the difference between charging at 25 W and 45 W becomes noticeable: it’s a matter of several dozen minutes for a full cycle.

Note: The Z Fold 8 Ultra does not have magnets in the case. It supports Qi2, but the magnetic ring must be provided by the case. A magnetic wireless charger will not stick to the bare phone.

Ranking: 7 najlepszych ładowarek do Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra

    1. Tech-Protect PowerVision NC45W-GaN: jedyna z wyświetlaczem mocy

Nasz wybór: komplet parametrów plus wyświetlacz, który potwierdza realną moc.

To ładowarka, która pokazuje, ile watów faktycznie płynie do telefonu. Wyświetlacz PowerView AI 2.0 podaje aktualny pobór mocy i temperaturę.

    2. Samsung EP-T4511 45W: oryginał bez niespodzianek

If you don’t want to analyze the specifications, take the manufacturer’s charger. EP-T4511 is Samsung’s reference 45 W cube and the standard against which others are compared.

The specification lists PDO profiles of 9 V, 15 V, and 20 V, with a current of 3 A at 9 V and 15 V, and PPS in the range of 5–20 V. The standby power consumption is below 5 mW, so the cube can stay in the socket.

    • 15 V / 3 A profile confirmed in the manufacturer’s specifications
    • PPS 5–20 V and full compatibility with Super Fast Charging 2.0
    • Standby consumption below 5 mW
    • Protections against overloading, short-circuiting, and overheating

Dwa minusy. Kabel sprzedawany osobno. To też największa konstrukcja spośród modeli 45 W: 43.5 × 81.8 × 28 mm, bez technologii GaN.

    3. UGREEN Nexode Pro 45W: dwa porty w kostce wielkości pudełka zapałek

    Najlepszy kompromis między rozmiarem a możliwościami. Chip GaNInfinity pozwolił zamknąć 45 W i dwa porty USB-C w obudowie 35.89 × 36.5 × 47 mm, o 21% mniejszej od klasycznych konstrukcji.

The list of supported standards is the longest in the ranking and includes the most important: PD 3.0 with PPS, plus QC4+, SCP, FCP, and AFC. The manufacturer states that the MacBook Air M2 charges up to 72% in one hour.

    • PD 3.0 with PPS plus QC4+, QC3.0, SCP, FCP, AFC
    • Two USB-C ports: phone and headphones simultaneously
    • GaNInfinity provides a 21% smaller case
    • Thermal Guard monitors temperature in real-time

Honestly: the manufacturer does not publish exact voltage profiles in the store specification, so we cannot confirm the 15 V / 3 A profile in black and white. However, the presence of PPS in PD 3.0 is enough for confirmation. This is the most frequently purchased 45 W charger in the ranking.

    4. USAMS CC305 T66 45W GaN: full 45 W on the main port

    USAMS as one of the few manufacturers provides in the store a full output profile table. This works to its advantage. The USB-C1 port provides 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 3 A, 12 V / 3 A, 15 V / 3 A, and 20 V / 2.25 A.

The second port is clearly weaker (15 V at 2 A), and when both are used simultaneously, the power is divided into 25 W and 18 W. It’s important: connect the phone to port C1 if you care about full speed.

    • 15 V / 3 A profile on the USB-C1 port, confirmed in the manufacturer’s table
    • Two USB-C ports with a power split of 25 W + 18 W
    • GaN technology, housing made of ABS and polycarbonate (PC)
    • Weight approximately 96 g, dimensions 39 × 33.5 × 44.5 mm

What’s missing: the specification does not explicitly mention PPS. However, the 15 V / 3 A profile is clearly stated, and it is responsible for 45 W.

    5. Bizon Charger VT-36B 45W: the only one with Super Fast Charging 2.0 in the specification

The most complete specification outside the first league of brands. Bizon is the only one that mentions Super Fast Charging 2.0 by name in the specification, which is exactly the mode in question for Samsung.

Moreover, the 15 V / 3 A profile is available on both USB-C ports, not just the main one. GaN3 technology maintains a low temperature, and the manufacturer claims it can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.

    • Super Fast Charging 2.0 mentioned directly in the specification
    • Profile 15 V / 3 A on both USB-C ports
    • GaN3 lowers operating temperature
    • CE and RoHS certifications, dimensions 9 × 3.5 cm

Limitation: with two devices at once, 45 W is divided between the ports, so the phone will not receive full power. Bizon is the least recognizable brand in the comparison, but here the specification speaks for itself.

    6. Spigen EE451EU Essential 45W: charger and cable in one box

To jedyna pozycja w rankingu z kablem w zestawie.

    7. Satechi ChargeView GaN 140W: one block for the whole desk

A proposal for someone who wants to use one charger for a laptop, tablet, headphones, and Z Fold 8 Ultra. Four USB-C ports and 140 W are enough to charge the phone at full power even when the other ports are in use.

The display informs about the charging status, and GaN technology keeps reasonable dimensions for this power. An alternative to a multi-port block are 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 charging stations.

    • 140 W total power
    • Four USB-C ports: phone, laptop, tablet, and headphones at the same time
    • Built-in display of charging status
    • GaN Technology in a compact housing

Honestly: this is overkill for the phone itself, and the product card does not mention PPS or power distribution to the ports. You buy it for the number of ports and power reserve, not because it is the best charger for the phone itself.

Którą ładowarkę wybrać? Rekomendacje według potrzeb

Chcesz mieć pewność, że dostajesz 45 W → Tech-Protect PowerVision NC45W-GaN. Wyświetlacz pokazuje realną moc, więc nie musisz niczego zgadywać.

Nie chcesz analizować specyfikacji → Samsung EP-T4511. Ładowarka producenta telefonu, pełna zgodność w standardzie. Pamiętaj o kablu.

Charging your phone and a second device → UGREEN Nexode Pro 45W. Two USB-C ports in a case smaller than the original Samsung.

Want 45 W on both ports at the same time → Bizon Charger VT-36B. Profile 15 V / 3 A on each output and Super Fast Charging 2.0 mentioned in the specifications.

Buying your first charger and don’t have a cable → Spigen EE451EU Essential. A complete set in one box.

You have a laptop, tablet, and phone on your desk → Satechi ChargeView GaN 140W. Four ports and power reserve.

Cable: the element where it’s easiest to lose 45 W

Let’s repeat, because this is the most common mistake. To charge 45 W you need a USB-C to USB-C cable with a 5 A rating and e-marker. A cable from the previous phone’s set, a USB-A cable, and a cheap unmarked wire will keep the phone in slower mode.

What to look for in the cable description:

    • 5 A or 100 W is the same information expressed differently
    • E-marker, sometimes described as “E-Mark chip”
    • USB-C on both ends: adapters and USB-A are out
    • Length matched to the charging location, because a longer cable means greater losses

More about choosing the cable can be found in the guide which cable to choose for fast charging.

Induction charger for Samsung: what Qi2 offers in the Z Fold 8 Ultra

The Z Fold 8 Ultra charges wirelessly with a power of 20 W using the Qi2 standard. An induction charger is a convenient solution for the desk, but always slower than wired charging.

Important note: the phone does not have magnets in the case. The Qi2 magnetic charger will not stick to the bare phone until you put on a case with a magnetic ring. A regular flat induction charger will work without any additional accessories.

When choosing an induction charger for Samsung, check the declared power for Android phones. Some magnetic chargers state the highest power only for iPhones, offering significantly less for other devices.

Below you will find both variants: flat pads that work with a bare phone and Qi2 magnetic models to pair with a case with a ring.

Charging in the car and on the go

In the car, the same three parameters apply as at home. Look for a 45 W charger with PD and PPS, not a block described only by the amperage. Check car chargers and power banks if you’re charging your phone on the road.

If you’re looking for accessories for a specific model, we have separate categories for Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8.

    Summary

The best charger for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the Tech-Protect PowerVision NC45W-GaN. It has a confirmed profile of 15 V / 3 A, PPS, and a display that shows real power. The safest choice without analyzing specifications is the original Samsung charger EP-T4511, and the most confirmed parameters outside of the original are provided by the Bizon Charger VT-36B.

    Three things to remember:

    1. Three parameters on the box: power of 45 W or more, PPS, and PD 3.0. Lack of PPS takes away more than half the speed.
    2. 5 A cable with e-marker is just as important as the charger. Without it, the phone won’t reach 45 W.
    3. A stronger charger does not harm. A 65 W or 100 W block will provide the phone exactly as much as it requests.

FAQ: frequently asked questions about the charger for Z Fold 8 Ultra

Does it have to be an original charger for Samsung?

No. Any charger with a minimum power of 45 W, supporting PPS and PD 3.0 standard is sufficient. The original Samsung ensures compatibility without checking specifications, but chargers from other brands with these parameters work identically.

    What is the difference between a 25 W charger and a 45 W charger?

The 45 W charger activates Super Fast Charging 2.0 mode in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which is a 15 V / 3 A profile. The 25 W charger stops at the first generation of Super Fast Charging. With a 5,000 mAh battery, the difference in full cycle time is several dozen minutes.

Can a 65 W charger be used to charge the phone?

Yes. It is completely safe. The phone negotiates the power it needs with the charger and will draw a maximum of 45 W. A stronger charger operates cooler because it does not work at the edge of its capabilities.

How many watts must a charger for Samsung have?

To Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra minimum to 45 W z obsługą PPS. Ładowarka 25 W naładuje telefon, ale wyraźnie wolniej. Sama moc nie wystarczy: kostka 65 W bez PPS zwolni do 15–25 W.

Dlaczego moja nowa ładowarka ładuje wolniej niż stara?

Najczęstsza przyczyna to kabel. Ładowanie 45 W wymaga przewodu USB-C do USB-C o obciążalności 5 A z e-markerem.

POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra: everything we know before the premiere

POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra will debut globally on September 1, 2026 at an online event. This date has been confirmed by POCO itself. Both models are global versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, but with noticeably smaller batteries than the Chinese originals. Leaks indicate Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 200 MP camera, and an 8,050 mAh battery in the Ultra version.

There are a few days left until the premiere, and most of the cards are already on the table. POCO itself has shown both phones in their premiere colors, and GSMArena has published the full specification leak.

Below you will find a clear division between what the manufacturer has officially confirmed and what comes solely from leaks. Additionally, a complete comparison table of both models and an answer to the question of which one makes sense for whom.

Note: This article was created before the official premiere. Data marked as leaks have not been confirmed by the manufacturer. We will update it on September 1, 2026, after the event.

When is the POCO F9 premiere? The date is already certain

The global premiere of the POCO F9 series will take place on September 1, 2026 during an online presentation. The date has been confirmed by POCO itself, making it one of the few certainties in this article, alongside the model names and colors.

We will see two models: POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra. The manufacturer has already shown both phones in selected colors: Ultra in Dark Cherry, Pro in Aurora Green.

It’s a short time from announcement to release, typical for the brand. POCO rarely drags out pre-launch campaigns and usually puts phones on sale a few days after the showcase.

What POCO has officially confirmed and what is a leak

This division matters because both operate alongside each other online, without a label.

Leaks have unusually strong foundations here. Both phones are global versions of Redmi models that have already debuted in China: F9 Pro corresponds to Redmi K100 Pro, and F9 Ultra to Redmi K100 Pro Max.

However, this does not mean that the specifications are identical. Global versions receive noticeably smaller batteries than their Chinese originals and this is the most important information from the entire leak.

185 Hz is not just a number for the folder. A panel with such a refresh rate makes sense mainly in games, and that’s exactly how POCO positions the entire F series.

LED ring in the Ultra version is an element that is not present in the Pro. The backlight near the speaker module on the camera island signals notifications.

Beware of the resistance class: the specification bases indicate IP68 for global versions, while the Chinese originals have IP66/68/69. Some leaks attribute IP69 to POCO models as well. Resolution on September 1.

Beware of the processor: the Chinese Redmi K100 Pro uses a more power-efficient variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series with a lower clocked graphics chip. It is unclear whether POCO F9 Pro will get the same variant or the full version of the chip. In the case of F9 Ultra, leaks indicate the standard version.

What are the differences between POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra?

Both phones have the same processor, the same screen in terms of refresh rate and brightness, and the same main camera of 200 MP. The real differences are three.

Ultrawide camera: 8 MP vs 50 MP. This is the biggest difference in specifications and also the most often overlooked. With the identical main camera, it is the «wide angle» that determines whether landscape and interior photos will be useful.

Bateria: 6 330 mAh kontra 8 050 mAh. Różnica to ponad 1 700 mAh, więcej, niż dzieli kolejne generacje tego samego modelu. W Ultra to zapas na drugi dzień pracy bez ładowarki.

Zoom: 2.5× kontra 5× peryskop.

Jeśli używasz głównie aparatu głównego, POCO F9 Pro daje ten sam procesor i ten sam sensor 200 MP.

Co POCO F9 Ultra zmienia względem POCO F8 Ultra?

POCO F8 Ultra zadebiutował 26 listopada 2025 i wciąż jest aktualnym flagowcem marki; zestawiliśmy go wcześniej z poprzednikiem w porównaniu F8 Ultra i F7 Ultra.

Ile będzie kosztować POCO F9 Pro i F9 Ultra?

In terms of conversion, it’s roughly 3,400 PLN for the Pro version and about 4,200 PLN for the Ultra. These are the leaked starting prices for the European market, and POCO traditionally cuts them with promotions in the first days of sales.

It’s worth keeping in mind that Polish launch prices are rarely a straightforward conversion from euros. We will know the real amounts on September 1st.

100 W Charging: What to Prepare Before the Launch

Both models are expected to support 100 W wired charging. At this power level, it matters which charger you connect.

Full 100 W in Xiaomi and POCO phones usually requires the manufacturer’s charger with the proprietary HyperCharge protocol, and the charging speed from chargers of other brands can be lower. We described the same mechanism in our guide on chargers for POCO F8 Ultra. USB Power Delivery (USB PD) chargers from other brands will charge the phone quickly, but usually slower than the manufacturer’s block. We will confirm this after the launch, when we know the official charging specifications.

Regardless, a powerful GaN charger (gallium nitride) will be useful from day one, and it will also handle a laptop. We have gathered the smallest high-power designs in the ranking of GaN chargers.

    Tech-Protect PowerVision NC100W-GaN: 100 W with power preview

Trzy porty, moc 100 W i wyświetlacz pokazujący aktualny pobór w watach.

UGREEN Nexode Pro 100W GaN: kompaktowa kostka do plecaka

Three ports in a casing that you can easily throw into your backpack. It will charge your phone, tablet, and laptop, and GaN technology keeps the operating temperature low.

    [hs_products ids=»142549,76146″ cols=»2″ title=»GaN Chargers 100 W»]

To charge at high power, you also need the right cable. Check USB-C to USB-C cables with a current capacity of 5 A and power banks for fast charging if you often charge your phone outside the home.

Will accessories from POCO F8 fit F9?

Almost certainly not. We do not know the official dimensions of POCO F9, but the change in the camera island layout and diagonal compared to the F8 series means that cases and glass from the previous generation should not fit. We will know the dimensions on September 1st.

This is a standard situation when changing generations, and it is worth remembering before you buy accessories in advance. Dedicated cases and glass for POCO F9 will be available for sale after the premiere.

Until then, you can check the offer for the predecessors: cases and glass for POCO F8 Pro and accessories for POCO F8 Ultra. The scale of this offer well shows what to expect with F9.

    Summary

POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra debut on September 1, 2026 during an online presentation. Apart from the date, only the model names and colors are officially confirmed.

Three things to remember before the premiere:

    1. Global versions have smaller batteries than the Chinese ones. F9 Pro loses to the Redmi K100 Pro by as much as 2,250 mAh, and F9 Ultra loses to the K100 Pro Max by 1,020 mAh.
    2. The ultra-wide camera differentiates these models more than the zoom. 8 MP in Pro compared to 50 MP in Ultra is a difference noticeable in every wide-angle photo.
    3. Battery of 8,050 mAh in the Ultra version is a value rarely found in a phone with a flagship processor.

We will update the article on September 1, when POCO provides the official specifications and Polish prices.

FAQ: najczęstsze pytania o POCO F9

    Kiedy wychodzi POCO F9?

Globalna premiera serii POCO F9 odbędzie się 1 września 2026 podczas eventu online. Datę potwierdziło samo POCO. Sprzedaż zwykle rusza w ciągu kilku dni od prezentacji.

Czy Xiaomi i POCO to to samo?

POCO to podmarka Xiaomi, działająca jako osobna linia produktowa. Telefony powstają na bazie modeli Xiaomi i Redmi, ale mają własną nazwę i pozycjonowanie. POCO F9 Pro i F9 Ultra to przebrandowane Redmi K100 Pro i K100 Pro Max.

Ile będzie kosztować POCO F9 Ultra?

According to leaks, the POCO F9 Ultra will start at 999 EUR for the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant, which is about 4,200 PLN. The Pro version is expected to start at 799 EUR for 12 GB RAM and 256 GB. Prices have not been confirmed by the manufacturer.

What are the differences between the POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra?

Three things: an ultra-wide camera (8 MP vs. 50 MP), battery (6,330 mAh vs. 8,050 mAh), and zoom (2.5× vs. periscope 5×). The processor, main camera 200 MP, and refresh rate 185 Hz are identical.

Is the POCO F9 Ultra a flagship?

Yes. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, main camera 200 MP, 100 W charging, and speakers tuned by Bose make it a flagship set. POCO traditionally offers such specifications cheaper than higher-positioned brands.

Does the case from POCO F8 fit the POCO F9?

Almost certainly not. The diagonal and the layout of the camera island change, so accessories from the F8 series should not fit. We will have certainty on September 1, when POCO will provide the official dimensions.

    Are POCO phones good?

POCO aims for high performance at a lower price than premium brands. The F series features flagship processors, bright displays, and fast charging, usually at the cost of minor details: updates may be shorter, and cases less frequently use more expensive materials. For gamers and those demanding performance, it is a strong proposition.

  • Best Cases for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8: Top 10 Models

Best Cases for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8: Top 10 Models

The best case for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro MagSafe. As the only one in the ranking, it combines integrated hinge protection with a built-in magnetic ring. For maximum protection, reach for the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro with hinge cover and port plugs. The cheapest reasonable choice is the Tech-Protect FlexAir Hybrid MagSafe.

The Z Flip 8 is the thinnest and lightest Flip in history: 6.1 mm thick and 180 g. The manufacturer achieved this at the cost of a margin for error. The Armor Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 will withstand scratches, but the hinge and plastic top of the main screen are defenseless.

In this ranking, you will find 10 cases from 10 different brands, from rugged to designer. Each is described in terms of what in the foldable really requires protection: the hinge, the edges of the screen, and the glass back. At the end, a comparison table and answers to the questions that Flip users ask most often.

Why a case for a foldable is a completely different category

For a regular smartphone, you mainly buy a case to avoid cracking the screen. In a foldable, the main screen is folded inward for most of the day, so the greatest risk shifts elsewhere.

The hinge is the most expensive component of the construction. Samsung used the Armor FlexHinge mechanism with an expanded internal frame in the Z Flip 8. A grain of sand that gets into the gap can scratch the screen from the inside at the first fold.

Resistance is IP48, not IP68. The number 4 indicates protection only against foreign bodies with a diameter greater than 1 mm. The standard does not cover dust, sand, or particles from pockets. A case with port covers and a hinge cover realistically reduces this gap.

The main screen has a plastic top. You cannot put tempered glass on it, and the factory film is part of the display’s construction and cannot be removed on its own. You will scratch it with your nails.

Note: replacing the display in the foldable Samsung is an expense of around 1,500–2,000 PLN in an authorized service, which is several times the price of the most expensive case in this comparison. You can check the current price list at Samsung Poland service.

Qi2 Ready: magnets are in the case, not in the phone

This is the most often overlooked fact about the Z Flip 8. The phone supports wireless charging 15 W in the Qi2 standard, but there are no magnets in the housing. Samsung describes it as «Qi2 Ready».

In practice, this means one thing: a magnetic ring must be provided by the case. Without it, the phone will not stick to a magnetic charger, car mount, or power bank. Inductive charging will work, but without automatic alignment of the coils.

By choosing a case for the Z Flip 8, you are actually deciding whether your phone will be magnetic. This is a much more serious decision than the color of the casing. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 case with a magnetic ring is a one-time purchase, along with the entire rest of the ecosystem.

    The magnetic case unlocks:

Manufacturers call it differently: Spigen uses the designation MagFit, UNIQ talks about MagClick, most brands simply write MagSafe. It’s the same arrangement of magnets and the same accessories.

What to pay attention to when choosing a case for the Z Flip 8

CriterionWhy it’s important in a foldable
Hinge protectionSeparate cover or integrated design protects the most expensive part of the phone
Magnetic ringThe phone doesn’t have its own magnets; without a case, you lose Qi2 accessories
Raised edgesProtect the FlexWindow and camera island when placing the phone screen down
ThicknessFolded Flip 8 is 13.1 mm, and the case adds to both halves; rugged models take away Flip’s main advantage
Button and port coversRealistically complement the limited IP48 rating
Two-piece constructionThe Flip case consists of two separate parts that cannot block folding

Tip: the case from Galaxy Z Flip 7 does not fit Z Flip 8. The dimensions of the housing and the layout of the camera island have changed. Check if the product is labeled as “Flip 8″ or “Flip8″ before ordering.

Ranking: 10 best cases for Galaxy Z Flip 8

    1. Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro MagSafe: transparent with hinge protection

Our choice: magnets and hinge protection in one case.

Spigen combined two things here that rarely go hand in hand in this set: integrated hinge design and built-in magnetic ring. The design supports the natural bending of the phone instead of hindering it.

The material is a classic hybrid: flexible TPU absorbs shocks, while the hard polycarbonate panel takes scratches. The transparent finish leaves the original color of the Flip visible.

    • Integrated hinge protection covering the entire folding mechanism
    • MagFit ring provides full compatibility with magnetic accessories without removing the case
    • Precise cutouts for all ports and buttons
    • Transparent back that does not obscure the color of the case

Downside? It’s one of the more expensive cases in the lineup, and the transparent polycarbonate yellows over time. That’s the physics of the material, not a flaw of the specific product.

    MaterialTPU + polycarbonate (PC)

    2. Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro: maximum protection without compromise

To najbardziej kompletna ochrona w całym rankingu.

Zamykane zaślepki portów i osłony przycisków blokują kurz i wilgoć tam, gdzie norma IP48 przestaje działać.

    • Zaślepki portów i osłony przycisków chronią przed kurzem i wilgocią
    • Ukryta podstawka w trybie pionowym i poziomym
    • Obrotowy klips pasowy w zestawie

    3. Tech-Protect FlexAir Hybrid MagSafe: the cheapest way to Qi2 magnets

Best value for money: magnetic ring without the markup for the brand.

If you only care about making your phone magnetic, this is the cheapest way to achieve that. FlexAir Hybrid costs several times less than Spigen, and the built-in magnetic ring works with the same chargers and mounts.

The construction is proven: flexible TPU sides, hard polycarbonate back, raised edges around the FlexWindow and camera island. The dual-layer structure disperses impact energy.

    • Wbudowany pierścień magnetyczny zgodny z akcesoriami MagSafe i Qi2

    4. PITAKA Edge Case: najcieńsze, z włókna aramidowego

Did you buy the thinnest Flip in history and don’t want to bulk it up? The Edge Case has from 0.88 to 1.84 mm thickness depending on the area. It is the thinnest case in this comparison, practically unnoticeable in hand.

The material is aramid fiber in proprietary Fusion Weaving technology. It is the same raw material used in aviation. Aramid is exceptionally resistant to abrasion, does not discolor, and does not lose texture. The characteristic weave is an element of design here, not just construction.

    • Thickness 0.88–1.84 mm is the thinnest construction in the ranking
    • Aramid fiber resistant to abrasion and scratches
    • Full compatibility with MagSafe and wireless charging
    • Raised edges around the lenses
    • Textured surface improves grip

Honestly: this is the most expensive case in the comparison, several times more expensive than budget options in the ranking. You pay for the material and slimness, not for drop resistance. Aramid protects against scratches, but does not absorb impacts like thick TPU.

    5. UNIQ Veren AF MagClick Charging: matte, fingerprint-free

Every transparent case looks like an evidence item after two weeks. The Veren AF solves this with a frosted Anti-Fingerprint finish that doesn’t collect greasy stains or fingerprints.

Under the matte surface is a solid TPU and polycarbonate hybrid with reinforced corners. The manufacturer claims effective protection from falls from a height of up to 2.5 meters. This is the highest declared result in this comparison.

    • Matte AF finish that doesn’t collect fingerprints
    • Drop tests up to 2.5 m according to the manufacturer’s declaration
    • Reinforced corners in a hybrid construction
    • MagClick is built-in magnets compatible with MagSafe accessories
    • Ergonomic grooves on the side edges

Translucent smoky frost is a compromise between a transparent case and an opaque one. If you want to fully cover your phone, choose the black or white version.

    6. Samsung Flipsuit: official, with variable NFC cards

The only case in this ranking that talks to the phone. Flipsuit uses interchangeable NFC cards: you slide the card into the back, and the Z Flip 8 recognizes it and changes the graphic on the FlexWindow along with animations.

This is an official Samsung solution, so the fit and cutouts are indisputable. The protection is adequate, though not armored: it protects against scratches and impacts, with easy access to ports.

    • Flipsuit cards with NFC change the appearance of the external screen
    • Original Samsung accessory with guaranteed fit
    • Protection against scratches and impacts
    • Elegant, minimalist design

Watch out for two things: the cards are purchased separately, and the case does not have a magnetic ring. If you want an official case with magnets, look for Clear Magnet or Silicone Ring Magnet variants.

Etui od marki modowej, które zaskakuje funkcjonalnością. Poza rozpoznawalnym wzorem 4G i złotym logo dostajesz składaną podstawkę i pełnoprawny pierścień magnetyczny.

    8. Tech-Protect Wallet: z klapką i kieszeniami na karty

Bestseller in this category: the most frequently purchased flip case for Z Flip 8.

The only flip case in the ranking and at the same time the highest-rated flip case in our offer. It solves the age-old dilemma of Flip owners: can you have a foldable phone and a wallet in one.

The eco-leather flap closes with a magnet and covers the FlexWindow, so the external screen is protected even when the phone is lying screen up. The internal pockets hold cards and cash, and the flap unfolds into a stand.

    • Magnetic closure of the flap
    • Pockets for cards and cash
    • Stand function in horizontal mode
    • TPU base protecting against drops
    • Ekoskóra ze wzmacniającymi przeszyciami

Najtańsza pozycja w rankingu i jedyna dostępna w sześciu wersjach kolorystycznych: czarnej, granatowej, burgundowej, czerwonej, jasnoniebieskiej i jasnoszarej. Dobry wybór, jeśli chcesz mieć kilka etui na zmianę zamiast jednego drogiego.

The construction is simple: hard plastic with integrated button covers and slightly raised edges. Wireless charging works without removing the case.

    • Six colors to choose from
    • Integrated button covers
    • Raised edges around the screen
    • Compatible with wireless charging

No magnets and no hinge cover. Hard plastic protects against scratches better than falls; TPU cushions more effectively. The manufacturer also states a limitation: the case works with screen protectors for the main screen with dimensions not exceeding 166.3 × 74.1 mm.

    10. Karl Lagerfeld Karl&Choupette Pins MagSafe: designer with a pin

Most recognizable item in the lineup. The eco-leather case features a pin depicting Karl Lagerfeld with his cat Choupette. This is a detail you won’t find with any tech brand.

Under the design layer is a solid hardcase construction made of eco-leather on polycarbonate and TPU. Raised edges protect the FlexWindow and lens, button covers and port cutouts are in place.

    • Karl & Choupette Pin as a design element
    • Magnetic ring compatible with MagSafe accessories
    • Eco-leather pleasant to the touch
    • Raised edges around the screen and camera

Looking for one case for everything → Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro MagSafe. Magnets and hinge protection in one product, without choosing the lesser evil.

Your phone goes with you to the construction site and in the mountains or ends up in a child’s hands → Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. Port covers and hinge protection are the only real answer to the IP48 standard.

You already have a magnetic charger and just want to connect it → Tech-Protect FlexAir Hybrid MagSafe. Several times cheaper than Spigen, and the magnets hold just as well.

You bought the Flip for its slimness → PITAKA Edge Case. Below 2 mm at its thickest point. Aramid instead of plastic.

You hate fingerprints on the case → UNIQ Veren AF. Matte surface and the highest declared drop resistance in comparison.

You want to carry cards without a wallet → Tech-Protect Wallet. The flap protects the FlexWindow, and the pockets hold documents.

Looking for a gift → Karl Lagerfeld or Guess. Recognizable brand, eco-leather, and magnets included.

What to complement the case for Galaxy Z Flip 8

The case takes care of the back and edges. There are still three areas in the foldable that no one else will take care of.

FlexWindow. The external screen is not foldable, so you can put regular tempered glass on it. This is the screen that gets hit the most, as you use it with the phone folded.

Main screen. Only a hydrogel or protective film works here. Never tempered glass: it will crack on the first fold and may damage the display.

Camera lenses. The camera island protrudes above the case. Separate lenses or metal frames cost a fraction of the repair cost of the module.

If you are looking for accessories for an older model, we have separate categories for Galaxy Z Flip 7 and all generations of Galaxy Z Flip. Owners of the larger foldable will find a complete set in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 category.

    Summary

The best case for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro MagSafe. It is the only case in the comparison that combines integrated hinge protection with a magnetic ring. For maximum protection, reach for Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro, and for the cheapest entry into magnetic accessories, go for Tech-Protect FlexAir Hybrid MagSafe.

Three things to remember when choosing:

    1. Z Flip 8 does not have its own magnets. The case determines whether the phone will work with Qi2 chargers and mounts.
    2. Hinge and IP48 standard are real weak points, not the back panel. The hinge cover and port caps are more important than the thickness of the back.
    3. Case from Flip 7 does not fit Flip 8. Check the model designation before purchasing.

All described cases, glasses, and films can be found in one place.

FAQ: most common questions about cases for Z Flip 8

Does the case from Galaxy Z Flip 7 fit Z Flip 8?

No. Z Flip 8 has different housing dimensions and a changed camera island layout, so cases from the previous generation will not provide a proper fit. Only purchase products marked as “Flip 8″ or “Flip8″.

Does Galaxy Z Flip 8 have magnets like MagSafe?

No, it does not. The phone is “Qi2 Ready”, meaning it supports 15 W wireless charging in the Qi2 standard, but the magnets must be provided by the case. Without a case with a magnetic ring, magnetic accessories will not stick to the housing.

Case with a flap or without for a folding phone?

Without a flap, if you care about slimness and magnets. The folded flip protects the main screen by itself. With a flap, if you want to cover the FlexWindow and carry payment cards instead of a wallet. The flap case does not have a magnetic ring.

Can tempered glass be applied to the main screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 8?

No. The main screen has a flexible plastic surface and tempered glass will crack on the first fold. Only use hydrogel or protective films. Apply tempered glass only to the external FlexWindow.

How much does it cost to replace the screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 8?

Replacing the display on the foldable Samsung costs around 1,500–2,000 PLN at an authorized service center, which is several times the price of the most expensive case in this ranking. The current price list can be found on the Samsung Poland service website.

Does the Galaxy Z Flip 8 come with a factory film on the main screen?

Yes. The film is part of the foldable display’s construction and cannot be removed by yourself: peeling it off exposes a layer that scratches with a fingernail. The replacement should be done by an authorized service. This case does not protect the film because the main screen is folded inward.

Is it worth buying a case with hinge protection?

Yes, if you often carry your phone in your pocket with keys or work in a dusty environment. The IP48 standard only protects against particles larger than 1 mm, so fine sand can get into the mechanism. The hinge cover is available for Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro and Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro.

Kompilacje beta trafiają do testerów w dwóch turach: 11 i 13 sierpnia 2026.

Uwaga: zamknięta beta to oprogramowanie testowe. Zanim ją zainstalujesz, zrób
kopię zapasową — powrót do stabilnej wersji zwykle wymaga wyczyszczenia telefonu.

Krótko: if this is your only phone, skip it. The closed beta is early software where contactless payments, banking, or the camera may not work. Additionally, reverting to the previous version usually requires wiping the phone.

Beta makes sense if you have a spare device and want to report bugs. Otherwise, the stable version will come on its own and will just work.

    What’s new in ColorOS 17

    New Apple-inspired look

The most noticeable change is the graphical layer. According to reports, OPPO is adopting solutions reminiscent of Liquid Glass from Apple systems — semi-transparent layers that refract what is underneath them.

However, it is worth tempering expectations here. People who have seen early builds describe the effect more as «liquid acrylic» than glass — the light refraction is clearly weaker than with Apple. Additionally, there are more consistent corner rounding and light effects in notifications.

    More refinement than revolution

And this is probably the most important information for those considering the update. OPPO has confirmed that ColorOS 17 focuses on refining the interface rather than overhauling the way it operates. Don’t expect a new settings layout or a rearrangement of gestures.

For some users, this is an advantage — there’s no need to learn anything new. For those who were hoping for significant changes, the update may seem unimpressive.

    Podstawa: Android 17

    ColorOS 16 ColorOS 17
    Podstawa Android 16 Android 17
Wygląd matowe, jednolite panele półprzezroczyste warstwy, efekty świetlne
Zaokrąglenia niespójne między ekranami ujednolicone w całym systemie
Układ ustawień bez zmian bez zmian
Gesty i nawigacja bez zmian bez zmian

Nowe telefony mają wychodzić już z ColorOS-em, a starsze modele dostaną go wraz z aktualizacją.

    Kiedy stabilna wersja ColorOS 17?

The order is usually as follows: first China, then India, and finally Europe. It can take several weeks between the first and the last market, so if the update doesn’t come immediately — that’s normal.

How to check if your phone has received an update

The procedure is the same on all OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme phones:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Go to System and updates
    3. Select Software update
    4. Tap the refresh icon or wait for the automatic check

If an update is available, you will see it on this screen. It’s worth connecting the phone to a charger and Wi-Fi — system packages can weigh several gigabytes, and an interrupted installation is the most common cause of problems after an update.

Before a major update, it’s always a good idea to make a backup. Even if theoretically the data remains untouched, a few minutes for a backup is a cheap way to ensure peace of mind.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will my phone get ColorOS 17? If it’s a flagship OPPO, OnePlus, or Realme from the last two years — most likely yes. There is no complete list yet; six models from the beta are just the beginning, not a complete list of supported devices.

Is ColorOS 17 a big change? No. OPPO itself describes it as a refinement of the interface. The appearance will change, but not the way of operation.

Will I lose data during the update? With a regular update of the stable version — no. When installing a beta and later reverting to an older version — usually yes, so make a backup before the beta.

Will Realme UI disappear from my phone? Not overnight. The change concerns future updates, it was announced in the Indian market, and the systems have been sharing common code for years anyway.

Is it worth waiting to buy a phone for ColorOS 17? No. Phones purchased today will receive the update, and the release date is unknown. Choose the hardware based on what it offers now.

Will I need to change the case after the update? No — the system update does not change the dimensions of the phone. All accessories for OPPO devices fit the same.

    Summary

ColorOS 17 promises to be a smooth update: a refreshed look inspired by Apple solutions, based on Android 17, and tidying up instead of a revolution. The biggest organizational change is the phasing out of Realme UI, although for users, this mainly means a different name on the system information screen.

Regardless of which version of the system you have, accessories for OPPO devices remain the same — the update does not change the dimensions of the phone.

The beta is already in the hands of testers, and builds are reaching them on August 11 and 13. We expect the stable version of ColorOS 17 in the fall. We will update this article when OPPO provides the official list of devices and timelines for Europe.

Google Pixel 11, 11 Pro and Pro XL — premiere, prices and specifications

Google Pixel 11 will be showcased on August 12, 2026, at the Made by Google event in New York, with sales starting on August 20. The series starts with the Pixel 11 at $899 and ends with the Pro XL at $1299. All models feature the Tensor G6 built on a 2nm process and start with 256GB of storage.

If you’ve been waiting to upgrade your phone until August, there are two days left. The leaks are complete enough that we know the screens, processor, cameras, colors, and prices of all four models.

Below you will find the complete specifications table, a fair comparison of the models, and an answer to the question of which one costs the most: whether the upgrade to the Pro version is really worth it.

Note: This article was created before the official presentation and is based on leaks. We will confirm and supplement the data with the Polish pricing on August 12.

When is the Google Pixel 11 premiere?

    The calendar looks like this:

    • August 12, 2026 — presentation at the Made by Google event in New York, start of pre-sales
    • August 20, 2026 — first deliveries of Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL
    • October 2026 — only then will the Pixel 11 Pro Fold go on sale

The foldable will be showcased along with the rest of the series, but you will be able to buy it two months later. This is a repeat of the pattern from the previous generation.

Pre-order starts on the same day as the presentation. Google traditionally adds bonuses: store credit, headphones, or a higher valuation for the phone being traded in. If you know you’re going to buy anyway, the first days can be the cheapest moment.

Three things stand out. First, the Pixel 11 and 11 Pro have the same 6.3-inch screen — they differ in brightness, not size. Second, the Pro version is 0.2 mm thinner than the base model, which is unusual given the same diagonal.

Third and most importantly: the 128 GB variant is disappearing from the offer. Each model starts at 256 GB, which changes the meaning of comparing prices year over year.

Our advice: It’s worth having a case and glass from day one. Check accessories for Google Pixel 11 — the assortment is being updated along with the start of sales.

Tensor G6 — the first mobile processor in 2 nm

The heart of the entire series is Tensor G6 produced by TSMC in a 2 nm process. This is a generation ahead of the competition: Qualcomm and Apple chips in phones this season use a 3 nm process.

The core configuration is unconventional. Instead of a classic setup, Google opts for one ultra-core ARM C1 Ultra clocked at 4.11 GHz and the rest of the cores focused on efficiency. This is a decision aimed at managing heat and battery life, not benchmark results.

The modem is also changing. The series is powered by MediaTek M90 with support for 5G in sub-6 and mmWave bands and satellite connectivity. Google is thus ending its long-standing reliance on Samsung modems.

The effect of the 2 nm process will be seen not in benchmarks, but in battery life. The same chip does the same work at a lower energy cost, and Pixels have had more durability issues than the competition for years.

    Cameras — what really changes

Configuration remains familiar: main sensor 50 MP, ultra-wide and telephoto lens, with digital zoom up to 100x. But the main sensor in the base model and in the Pro versions is two different setups — Google stops pretending that the base Pixel gets the same glass as the Pro.

Real changes are on the software side:

    • Cinematic Blur at 4K/30 fps — until now, background blur in video only worked in 1080p
    • Video Relight — changing the lighting of a scene after recording the material
    • Ultra Low Light Video — recording in very low light, processed locally on the phone, without sending to the cloud

This last point is more important than it seems. Local processing means that the feature works in airplane mode, in the mountains, and everywhere there is no signal — and by the way, the material does not leave the device.

Pixel Glow and other new features of the Pro models

Pixel Glow — colorful notification light in the Google Pixel 11 Pro camera module

The most spectacular novelty is Pixel Glow: notification light hidden in the camera module on the back of the phone. Laying screen down, the Pixel signals with color what is happening.

This feature is exclusively for the Pro version and one of the few things that truly differentiate it from the base model with the same screen.

The entire series gets Android 17 with Gemini and a health feature package: sleep apnea detection, tremor monitoring, and fall detection. For runners, there’s real-time running technique analysis.

Charging goes up to 45 W wired and Qi2.2 wirelessly. It’s still slower than the Chinese competition, but Qi2.2 means magnetic alignment compatible with the magnetic accessory ecosystem.

Prices of Google Pixel 11 — how much will we pay in Poland

Leaked price lists include four models:

    ModelUSDEUR
    Pixel 11899999
    Pixel 11 Pro10991199
    Pixel 11 Pro XL12991299
    Pixel 11 Pro Fold18991999

The headline reads «Pixel increases by 100 dollars on each model» and formally, it’s true. However, the 128 GB variant is disappearing, and the new starting price applies to 256 GB.

If you compare what you are actually buying — that is, 256 GB to 256 GB — the increase is clearly smaller than those 100 dollars. People who were already paying extra for more memory can practically break even.

The Polish price list will be revealed on August 12. Historically, prices in zlotys tend to be higher than a simple conversion from euros, so treat the above as a point of reference, not a forecast.

    Which Pixel 11 to choose?

Here we need to say something that the press material won’t mention.

Pixel 11 vs 11 Pro is not a choice between a small and a large phone. Both have a 6.3-inch screen and the same dimensions to the fraction of a millimeter. The extra 200 USD buys you: a brighter screen (3600 instead of 3000 nits), more RAM (12–16 instead of 8 GB), a better main sensor, and Pixel Glow.

Is it worth 200 dollars? It depends on one thing: whether you use your phone in full sunlight. The difference of 600 nits is noticeable while biking, at the beach, and when navigating in a car. You will never see it at home.

    • Pixel 11 — if you want pure Android, a good camera, and are not chasing maximum brightness
    • Pixel 11 Pro — if you use your phone a lot outdoors or care about extra RAM for Gemini features
    • Pixel 11 Pro XL — the only sensible choice if you want a large 6.8-inch screen; that’s its true advantage

It’s also worth remembering the dimensions. Pro XL is 10 mm taller and 4.5 mm wider than the others. That’s a difference you can feel in your pocket and when using it one-handed.

Is it worth switching from Pixel 10?

This is the question most people ask themselves, so I’ll answer directly: it depends on what you have on your wrist today.

If you have Pixel 10 or 10 Pro — feel free to stay. The biggest change, the 2 nm process, will affect battery life, not the perceived speed. The camera gets a new sensor, but the leap in photo quality between successive Pixels for several generations is a matter of software, and these features also reach older models in updates.

If you have Pixel 8 or 9 — switching makes sense. You’re jumping two generations of processors, getting a noticeably brighter screen, a modern modem with satellite connectivity, and full support for Gemini working locally.

If you have a phone from another brand and are considering Pixel — August is a good time, but not necessarily for the launch model. In the weeks after the debut, the previous generation usually drops significantly in price, and Pixel 10 with seven years of update support remains a sensible phone for years.

What about the length of support

Google maintains seven years of system and security updates. For the Pixel 11 series, this means support until 2033. This is still the longest commitment in Android, on par with Samsung.

It’s worth calculating in terms of money. A phone for 899 dollars with seven years of support costs less annually than a cheaper model abandoned after three years — and it also retains its value on the secondary market longer.

    Battery and charging in practice

We know the capacity only for the Pro XL: 5115 mAh. For the other models, Google has not revealed the numbers, but with nearly identical dimensions compared to the previous generation, it’s hard to expect a significant leap.

More interesting is charging up to 45 W and Qi2.2. The latter number has practical significance: Qi2.2 is a magnetic alignment of the coil, so the phone lands on the wireless charger the first time, without searching for the correct position. Anyone who has charged a Pixel on a flat induction charger and woke up in the morning with a dead phone knows what I’m talking about.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold — a foldable on a separate track

The fourth model is the Pixel 11 Pro Fold: internal screen 8 inches, external 6.4 inches, both with 120 Hz. Weight 239 g with a thickness of 5 mm when unfolded.

The starting price is 1899 USD, which is twice as much as the basic Pixel 11. Sales will only start in October, so there will be a two-month gap between the presentation and the possibility of purchase.

The foldable gets the same Tensor G6 and the same main sensor as the Pixel 11. So you are paying for the design and screen, not for performance.

    FAQ — frequently asked questions

When is the Google Pixel 11 premiere?

The presentation will take place on August 12, 2026, at the Made by Google event in New York. Sales of Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL will start on August 20. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will hit stores only in October.

How much does the Google Pixel 11 cost?

Starting prices according to leaks: Pixel 11 is $899, 11 Pro $1099, 11 Pro XL $1299, and Pro Fold $1899. Each model starts from 256 GB. The Polish price list will be announced on August 12.

What is the difference between Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11?

The screen has the same size of 6.3 inches but is brighter: 3600 instead of 3000 nits. Additionally, 12–16 GB of RAM instead of 8 GB, a better main camera sensor, and Pixel Glow, which is a notification light on the back of the phone.

Is it worth paying extra for Pixel 11 Pro XL?

Only if you care about a large screen. Pro XL has 6.8 inches instead of 6.3 and a 5115 mAh battery, but it is 10 mm taller and clearly more difficult to operate with one hand. It has the same processor and cameras as the regular Pro.

When will the Pixel 11 Pro Fold go on sale?

The foldable will be showcased on August 12 along with the rest of the series, but it will not go on sale until October 2026. The starting price is $1899.

Does the Pixel 10 case fit the Pixel 11?

No. The dimensions and layout of the camera module have changed, so you need a case dedicated to the new generation. Also note the Pro models: Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL have different dimensions, so the cases are not interchangeable between them.

  • What backpack for Ryanair and Wizz Air? Dimensions and tested models

What backpack for Ryanair and Wizz Air? Dimensions and tested models

Free cabin baggage on Ryanair and Wizz Air has exactly the same dimensions: 40 × 30 × 20 cm. It must fit under the seat in front of you. Wizz Air adds a limit of 10 kg, Ryanair does not specify a weight limit. One well-chosen backpack will serve both airlines.

The problem is that backpack descriptions provide dimensions in different orders, and at the gate, there is a metal frame and an employee who does not discuss. A mistake costs up to £70 for checking baggage in the hold.

Below you will find a table of dimensions for both airlines, an explanation of why a backpack with «too large» dimensions still passes, and a list of models from our offer that have dimensions confirmed by the manufacturer.

Dimensions of cabin baggage — Ryanair and Wizz Air in one table

Let’s start with what is free.

    Ryanair Wizz Air
    Free baggage under the seat 40 × 30 × 20 cm 40 × 30 × 20 cm
Weight limit not specified 10 kg
    Paid baggage to the locker 55 × 40 × 20 cm 55 × 40 × 23 cm
Weight limit for paid baggage 10 kg 10 kg
    Service name Priority WIZZ Priority

    Two things are worth remembering.

The free dimension is identical in both lines. This is a result of standardization in Europe and greatly simplifies shopping: you don’t need a separate backpack for Ryanair and a separate one for Wizz.

Paid baggage already differs. Wizz Air allows 23 cm in depth, Ryanair only 20 cm. A cabin suitcase purchased for Wizz Air may not pass at Ryanair — this is the most common trap when buying larger baggage.

    Why does a backpack 40 × 20 × 25 cm fit in a frame 40 × 30 × 20

This question comes up most often and the answer is less obvious than it seems.

Many cabin backpacks have dimensions 40 × 20 × 25 cm in their name. The limit is 40 × 30 × 20 cm. You look at this and see 25 cm where the regulations say 20 cm. It seems like a discrepancy.

And yet such a backpack passes. The reason is simple: the frame at the gate is just a regular rectangular prism, not a set of walls assigned to specific sides of the backpack. You can insert it rotated.

Just arrange both sets of numbers from largest to smallest:

    Largest Middle Smallest
    Backpack 40 cm 25 cm 20 cm
    Frame 40 cm 30 cm 20 cm
    Verdict 40 ≤ 40 ✅ 25 ≤ 30 ✅ 20 ≤ 20 ✅

Each dimension of the backpack is less than or equal to the corresponding dimension of the frame. The backpack fits only when rotated 90 degrees from how you intuitively try to insert it.

Tip: At the gate, insert the backpack into the frame vertically, with the longer side down. If you try to push it in «flat,» you may hit that wall it won’t pass through, even though the backpack meets the limit.

The order of dimensions in the product description is a remnant of an older version of the regulations when Ryanair listed the limit as 40 × 20 × 25 cm. The set of numbers itself hasn’t changed; the order in the regulations has.

How much can realistically fit in a 20-liter backpack

Twenty liters sounds abstract, so let’s translate it into the contents of a weekend trip:

    • Two changes of clothes plus underwear for three days
    • Toiletry bag with liquids in containers up to 100 ml
    • 14–15 inch laptop in a dedicated compartment
    • Charger, cables, power bank
    • Rain jacket rolled at the bottom
    • Water bottle in the side pocket

This is a realistic range for a three- or four-day trip without laundry. For a week, it will be tight unless you plan to do laundry on-site.

What you won’t fit: spare shoes besides those on your feet, a thick winter jacket, and a hard toiletry bag. On a winter flight, the thickest items are simply worn on top of each other.

Attention: The 10 kg limit with Wizz Air also applies to free baggage. A 20-liter backpack filled with clothes rarely exceeds 7 kg, but with a laptop, power bank, and a bottle of water, it can approach the limit.

    Cabin backpacks in our offer

The following models have dimensions confirmed by the manufacturer and declared compliance with the requirements of both airlines.

    [hs_products ids=»120015,120016,120017,114366″ cols=»4″ title=»Cabin backpacks Ryanair and Wizz Air»]

It is worth saying directly: these are the only models in our offer with confirmed cabin dimensions. We have over a thousand other items in the category of bags and backpacks, but manufacturers do not declare compliance with airline limits for them.

We will not guess. With a penalty of around £70 for a mistake at the gate, suggesting a backpack «that will probably fit» would be unfair.

Both models have the same dimensions, the same capacity, and the same set of solutions in the manufacturer’s description. The differences come down to two things: available colors and the declared diagonal of the laptop.

    Feature Defender S50 Defender S40
    Dimensions 40 × 20 × 25 cm 40 × 20 × 25 cm
    Capacity 20 l 20 l
Laptop pocket up to 15.6″ ✅ (diagonal not specified)
    Material hybrid, moisture-resistant hybrid, moisture-resistant
    Luggage handle strap
    Side pocket for bottle
    Shaped back and straps
Colors black, olive, powder pink black

If you carry a 15-inch laptop or larger, choose S50 — it is the only one of the two that explicitly states the diagonal. For smaller devices, the color is the deciding factor.

What to pay attention to when choosing

The dimension alone is not everything. Three things determine whether the backpack will work in practice.

Stiffness of the structure. A soft backpack can be compressed in a frame, while a hard one won’t forgive overloading. On the other hand, a soft one offers less protection for the laptop. A compromise is models with a reinforced back panel and soft sides.

Depth expansion. Many travel backpacks have a zippered compartment that adds a few centimeters of depth. This is convenient when traveling by car but can be a killer at the gate — once unzipped, the backpack no longer meets the limit. If you buy such a model, remember to fly with the compartment folded.

Access to the laptop. Security control requires removing the laptop from the luggage. An externally opening compartment saves unpacking the entire backpack at the conveyor belt.

Additionally, there’s something easy to forget: the backpack goes under the seat, not above your head. A height of 40 cm is the maximum, but in practice, the less it protrudes towards your legs, the more comfortably you fly.

    Backpack or cabin suitcase?

With a free limit of 40 × 30 × 20 cm, the answer is clear: backpack.

A hard suitcase of these dimensions exists, but it has two disadvantages. First, the wheels and handle take up a few centimeters of usable depth — the declared 20 liters turns into a real 14–15. Second, the rigid shell does not forgive: if the suitcase is one centimeter too large, you won’t be able to squeeze it into the frame.

The backpack makes better use of the limit because the soft sides provide a margin, and the lack of wheels means that the entire volume is available for packing. Plus, you have free hands at the airport.

A cabin suitcase only starts to make sense with paid luggage — with a limit of 55 × 40 × 20 cm, the wheels are no longer a problem because there is clearly more volume.

How to measure the backpack you already have

Before you buy a new one, check the one that’s in the closet. You need a regular measuring tape and five minutes.

Measure the packed backpack, not the empty one. An empty backpack is flat and fits everywhere. A packed one grows in depth by several centimeters, and this dimension usually determines rejection at the gate.

Write down three numbers: height, width, and depth at the thickest point. Include everything that sticks out — side pockets with a bottle, buckles, rolled-up chest strap.

Then arrange your three numbers from largest to smallest and compare with the arranged limit: 40, 30, 20. If each of your numbers is less than or equal to the corresponding one, the backpack will pass.

Tip: Don’t trust the manufacturer’s declaration without checking. Dimensions in descriptions are usually given for an empty backpack without side pockets.

How to pack 20 liters to make it enough

A few techniques that realistically increase capacity without changing the backpack.

Rolling instead of folding. Rolled-up shirts and pants take up less space and wrinkle less. The difference when packing for a week is one additional change of clothes.

Heaviest against the back. Place the laptop and shoes as close to your back as possible, at the bottom. The backpack carries better and sticks out less, which matters when putting it in a frame.

Socks in shoes. The inside of the shoes is a volume that travels empty anyway.

Cosmetics in containers up to 100 ml, in one transparent bag. This is a safety control requirement, and at the same time a packing discipline: the bag has a specific size and limits how much you can take.

The thickest things on you. A jacket, a sweatshirt, and the heaviest shoes worn do not count towards your luggage. When flying to a cooler climate, this is the simplest way to reclaim a few liters.

Common mistakes that cost at the gate

Counting the bag or pouch separately. The free limit is one piece. A backpack plus a small bag counts as two, and the staff has the right to charge a fee. Hide the bag in the backpack before boarding.

Jacket draped over the shoulder. Outerwear carried in hand usually does not count towards the limit, but a shopping bag from the airport does. Stuff the items purchased after security into your backpack.

Power bank in checked luggage. This is not only a matter of fees but also of safety regulations: power banks must travel in carry-on luggage, never in the hold. The capacity limit is usually 100 Wh, which is about 27,000 mAh — a typical 10,000 mAh power bank fits with a huge margin.

Open compartment. Described above — the most common reason for rejecting a backpack that «always passed before.»

One organizational tip: instead of carrying three chargers, take a USB-C adapter or hub and one power supply. The saved space can be better used for clothes, and fewer cables mean fewer things to take out during security checks.

What else to take in your carry-on

A few items that take up little space but can save your trip.

    Equipment Purpose Note
10,000 mAh power bank Airports rarely have free outlets Only in carry-on luggage
USB-C hub or adapter One power supply instead of three Saves space and time during checks
Short cable 30 cm Charging in the seat pocket Long cables get tangled under the seat
Document case Passport and boarding passes in one place Reduces wait time at the gate

The power bank deserves a separate mention because it is subject to a strict rule: it can never go in checked luggage. Even if you pay extra for a suitcase in the hold, the power bank stays with you.

    Summary

The most important things to remember:

    • Free baggage on Ryanair and Wizz Air has the same dimensions: 40 × 30 × 20 cm — one backpack is enough for both airlines
    • Wizz Air adds a limit of 10 kg, Ryanair does not specify the weight of free baggage
    • Paid baggage already differs: 55 × 40 × 20 cm on Ryanair, 55 × 40 × 23 cm on Wizz Air
    • A backpack of 40 × 20 × 25 cm fits in the frame — the set of three numbers matters, not their order
    • The penalty at the gate reaches 70 pounds, which is a multiple of the price of a good backpack
    • Watch out for expandable compartments and for adding a second piece of luggage

Airline regulations can change, so it’s worth checking the airline’s current website before your flight. The dimensions listed above are valid as of August 2026.

    FAQ — frequently asked questions

What are Ryanair’s cabin baggage dimensions in 2026?

Free personal baggage is 40 × 30 × 20 cm and must fit under the seat. With the Priority service, a second piece of baggage with dimensions of 55 × 40 × 20 cm and a weight of up to 10 kg can be placed in the overhead compartment.

Do Wizz Air and Ryanair have the same baggage dimensions?

Free baggage yes — both airlines specify 40 × 30 × 20 cm. Paid baggage already differs: Wizz Air allows 55 × 40 × 23 cm, while Ryanair allows 55 × 40 × 20 cm. Wizz Air additionally limits free baggage to 10 kg.

    Will a backpack 40 × 20 × 25 cm pass in Ryanair?

Yes. When sorted by size from largest, the backpack measures 40, 25, and 20 cm, and the frame measures 40, 30, and 20 cm — each dimension fits within its corresponding side. It just needs to be placed in turned, with the longer side down.

How much does it cost to check baggage at the gate?

In 2026, the fee reaches 70 pounds per piece, depending on the route and carrier. This is a multiple of the price of a backpack that meets the requirements, so checking the dimensions before departure pays off immediately.

Can a power bank be carried in hand luggage?

Yes, and only there — regulations prohibit carrying power banks in checked baggage. The limit is usually 100 Wh, which is about 27,000 mAh, so typical models of 10,000 and 20,000 mAh fit without any problem.

Does the weight count towards Wizz Air’s free baggage?

Yes, Wizz Air specifies a limit of 10 kg for free baggage under the seat. Ryanair does not specify weight for the free piece, but the baggage must physically fit in the frame and under the seat.

Google Pixel Watch 5 – specifications, price, and release

Google Pixel Watch 5 will debut on August 12, 2026, at the Made by Google event, alongside the Pixel 11 series. The watch returns in two sizes: 41 and 45 mm. The biggest change inside is 3 GB of RAM instead of 2 GB and Wear OS 7 with Gemini. Prices start at 419 EUR, which is approximately 1,800 PLN.

If you’ve been postponing the purchase of an Android smartwatch for a few weeks, you’ve made a good decision. The fifth generation of the Google watch is practically detailed in leaks: we know the battery capacities, charging times, the complete set of sensors, and the prices of all four variants.

Below you will find the full specification, a price table in PLN, a comparison with the Pixel Watch 4, and the answer to the question that every owner of the predecessor asks: will your bands and glasses fit.

Note: This article was created before the official premiere and is based on leaks and materials that have leaked from sales channels. We will confirm the data on August 12.

Three positions from this table deserve a comment. Dual-frequency GPS is responsible for the accuracy of the track in the city, between tall buildings. UWB (ultra-wideband) is precise close-range location, used among others for unlocking the car.

The third is satellite SOS, which is a call for help via satellite outside the range of the cellular network. In Poland, the function will work if Google makes it available in our market.

A thickness of 12.3 mm is exactly the same as in its predecessor. The case has not grown by a millimeter, which has very specific consequences for accessories; we will return to this below.

Our advice: Before you order the watch, check accessories for Google Pixel Watch at homescreen.pl. It’s worth having the strap and glass from day one, not after the first scratch.

What changes compared to Pixel Watch 4?

Let’s put it bluntly: Pixel Watch 5 is an iteration, not a generational leap. The same processor, the same case, the same screen. The memory changes, the battery increases by a few percent, and a new version of the system appears.

Parametr Pixel Watch 5 Pixel Watch 4
    Procesor Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Snapdragon W5 Gen 2
    RAM 3 GB 2 GB
    Pamięć 64 GB 32 GB
    Bateria 41 mm 332 mAh 325 mAh
    Bateria 45 mm 465 mAh 455 mAh
    Czas pracy do 30 h / 40 h do 30 h / 40 h
Wymiary koperty 12,3 mm 12,3 mm
System Wear OS 7.0 Wear OS 6 (aktualizacja do 7.0)
Cena startowa 399 USD 349 USD

Wear OS 7 trafi zresztą do czwórki w zwykłej aktualizacji.

Za to cena rośnie o 50 USD. Google nie tłumaczy dlaczego; najprawdopodobniej chodzi o podwójną pamięć i rosnące koszty komponentów.

    Bateria i ładowanie — 30 albo 40 godzin

Wybór rozmiaru to przede wszystkim wybór wytrzymałości. Różnica sięga dziesięciu godzin, czyli w praktyce jednej pełnej nocy ze śledzeniem snu.

Size Battery Standard mode Power saving mode
    41 mm 332 mAh up to 30 h up to 48 h
    45 mm 465 mAh up to 40 h up to 72 h

Charging times are the same for both versions:

    • 50% in about 15 minutes
    • 80% in 25–30 minutes
    • 100% in 45–60 minutes

This is a good result for a watch. A quarter of an hour in the shower is enough to last until the evening. And indeed, in short top-ups, the Pixel Watch is most conveniently used with sleep tracking.

The 45 mm version with power saving mode reaches 72 hours. You can take it for a weekend in the mountains without a charger.

Health and sensors — what the new Google watch measures

The sensor set is complete and matches what the predecessor offers:

    • Optical heart rate sensor with notifications for irregular heart rhythm
    • SpO2 — blood oxygen saturation
    • ECG — single-lead electrocardiogram
    • cEDA — continuous measurement of skin conductance, stress response indicator
    • Skin temperature sensor — night measurement
    • Altimeter, barometer, and compass

The greatest value of this set is cEDA. The sensor detects microscopic changes in sweating that the body generates under stress before you consciously notice them. In practice, the watch can ask, «Did something just upset you?» at the moment when something really upset you.

The whole thing is tied together by Wear OS 7 with Gemini. The assistant works on the watch, so questions like «How much did I sleep this week compared to last week?» do not require reaching for the phone.

Note: EKG and heart rate measurement functions are wellness tools, not medical devices in the sense of diagnostics. An incorrect reading is a signal to visit a doctor, not a diagnosis.

Price of Google Pixel Watch 5 and release date in Poland

Prices have leaked in full, for all four combinations of size and connectivity:

Variant Price EUR Estimated price PLN
    41 mm, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi 419 EUR approx. 1,800 zł
    45 mm, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi 449 EUR approx. 1,930 zł
41 mm, LTE 519 EUR approx. 2,230 zł
45 mm, LTE 549 EUR approx. 2,360 zł

Prices in złotys are an approximate conversion; the Polish Google price list can deviate from a simple euro conversion.

The release calendar looks like this:

    • August 12, 2026 — presentation at the Made by Google event and start of pre-sales
    • August 20, 2026 — first deliveries to customers

On the same day, the entire Google Pixel 11 series debuts. If you plan to replace your phone and watch at the same time, it’s worth waiting for the pre-sale bundles; Google traditionally adds a strap or a discount to them.

The surcharge for LTE is 100 EUR, which is about 430 zł. It only makes sense if you realistically leave your phone at home: while running, cycling, or swimming. Otherwise, the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version does exactly the same thing.

Do accessories from Pixel Watch 4 fit Pixel Watch 5?

Most likely yes, and this is the most important practical information in this article. The case retains the sizes of 41 and 45 mm and a thickness of 12.3 mm, just like its predecessor.

    Straps

In Google watches, the compatibility of the strap is determined by the case size, not the generation. The mounting has not changed since the first Pixel Watch.

    • Straps 41 mm are interchangeable between Pixel Watch 1, 2, 3, 4, and most likely 5
    • Straps 45 mm fit Pixel Watch 3, 4, and most likely 5 (the 45 mm size appeared only in the third generation)

This is even visible in the product names in the store: Bizon Strap Watch Silicone 41 mm for 26 PLN is described as compatible with four generations at once. You can find the full selection in the watch straps category.

    Cases, glasses, and films

Here caution is greater, as cases and glasses replicate the shape of the glass and the placement of the button and crown with an accuracy of tenths of a millimeter. However, since the dimensions of the case do not change, accessories from Watch 4 should fit without reservations.

    Accessory Brand Sizes Price
Case+Glass Watch (case with glass) Bizon 41 and 45 mm 25 zł
Glass Watch Edge Hybrid (hybrid glass) Bizon 41 and 45 mm 19 zł
Watch Film HydroFlex (film, 3 pieces) Bizon 41 and 45 mm 25 zł
Hydrofilm (hydrogel film) GrizzGlass 41 and 45 mm 11,99 zł
Strap Watch Silicone (silicone strap) Bizon 41 and 45 mm 26 zł
Strap Watch Aura (steel strap) Bizon 41 and 45 mm 69 zł

Our choice: Bizon Case+Glass Watch for 25 zł: a case and glass in one, so the edge of the case and the convex screen are protected together. If you prefer to keep the original look of the watch, take just the Bizon Glass Watch Edge Hybrid glass for 19 zł.

It is worth knowing the limitation of the offer: accessories for the Pixel Watch in our store come from two manufacturers, Bizon Mobile and GrizzGlass. This is a narrower selection than with the iPhone or Galaxy; Spigen and ESR do not make cases for Google watches. However, prices are low, and the complete protection package costs 40 zł.

The full range awaiting compatibility confirmation can be found in the Google Pixel Watch 4 category.

Is it worth waiting for the fifth generation?

The answer depends on what you have on your wrist.

You have Pixel Watch 4 — there’s no point. For a starting price that is 50 USD higher, you get an extra gigabyte of RAM and twice the music storage. Everything else remains unchanged.

You have Pixel Watch 2 or 3 — yes, it’s worth it. You skip two generations of sensors, get a screen that is twice as bright compared to the second generation, and a realistically longer battery life.

Buying your first Android watch — wait until August 12, even if you ultimately buy the four. The launch of the five is the moment when the Pixel Watch 4 noticeably drops in price, and accessories for it are already available immediately.

    Summary

The Google Pixel Watch 5 is a calm, predictable update without fireworks, and that’s not a criticism. The key facts:

    • Launch on August 12, 2026, deliveries from August 20, along with the Pixel 11 series
    • Two sizes: 41 mm (332 mAh, up to 30 h) and 45 mm (465 mAh, up to 40 h)
    • 3 GB RAM instead of 2 GB and 64 GB storage, real improvement in Gemini fluidity
    • The same Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 and the same 12.3 mm case as in Pixel Watch 4
    • Prices starting from 419 EUR (approx. 1,800 PLN) to 549 EUR (approx. 2,360 PLN) for 45 mm with LTE
    • Accessories from Pixel Watch 4 should fit, as the case size determines compatibility, not the generation

    FAQ — frequently asked questions

When is the launch of Google Pixel Watch 5?

The launch will take place on August 12, 2026, at the Made by Google event, along with the Pixel 11 series. Pre-orders start the same day, and the first deliveries to customers are scheduled for August 20, 2026.

How much does the Google Pixel Watch 5 cost?

Prices start at 419 EUR (about 1,800 PLN) for the 41 mm version with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The 45 mm variant costs 449 EUR, and the LTE versions are priced at 519 and 549 EUR, respectively. The Polish pricing of Google may differ from the euro conversion.

What are the differences between Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Watch 4?

Three things: 3 GB of RAM instead of 2 GB, 64 GB of storage instead of 32 GB, and Wear OS 7 instead of the sixth version. The processor, case, display, and declared battery life remain unchanged. The battery increases by about 2%.

Do the bands from Pixel Watch 4 fit Pixel Watch 5?

Most likely yes. In Google watches, compatibility is determined by the case size, not the generation. The 41 mm bands have been interchangeable since the first Pixel Watch, and the 45 mm bands since the third. The fifth maintains both sizes.

How long does the battery last in Pixel Watch 5?

The 41 mm version lasts up to 30 hours, and the 45 mm up to 40 hours in standard mode. In power-saving mode, it lasts 48 and 72 hours, respectively. Charging to 50% takes about 15 minutes.

Is it worth buying Pixel Watch 4 instead of waiting for the fifth?

If price is important to you, then yes. The differences boil down to memory and system version, and the Pixel Watch 4 will drop in price after the successor’s release. You can buy accessories for the fourth model immediately, including cases and glasses starting from 19 PLN, and the Google Pixel Watch 5 has the same case, so you won’t lose anything.
