Does a Xiaomi 17T case fit the 17T Pro?
No. A Xiaomi 17T case does not fit the 17T Pro, and vice versa. The 17T Pro is 4.6 mm taller and 2.3 mm wider. In a case that is supposed to hug the phone tightly, there is no way around this difference: the cutouts for the buttons, port and camera island end up in different places.

The camera setup is the same in both models, so it is easy to assume that the cases are shared too. They are not. Case manufacturers make separate versions for each model, and none of the cases in our range claims compatibility with both. So when buying, check the full name: “for Xiaomi 17T” or “for Xiaomi 17T Pro”.

Raised edges surround the display and the camera island, so when you put the phone down on a table, the glass does not touch the surface. The sides have a grip-enhancing texture, and the back has a matte finish with a carbon fiber pattern.
Its slim shape does not change the phone’s silhouette, and Spigen is one of the best-known case manufacturers. It is also available in a version for the Xiaomi 17T.
Who it’s for: most people who want one proven case for everyday use. It has no magnet, so for magnetic mounts choose one of positions 4–6.
2. 3mk Armor Case: maximum protection for the 17T Pro
The toughest case for the 17T Pro
Here, the protection comes with a specific number: 3mk claims compliance with the Military Grade standard in drop tests from approx. 175 cm. The construction combines polycarbonate with TPU at a thickness of 1.5 mm, and the reinforced corners absorb impact energy when the phone falls on its edge.
The non-slip surface reduces the risk of the phone slipping out of your hand, and at 219 g it is not a light phone. The buttons use EasyClick technology, which means they keep a distinct click despite the button covers.
Who it’s for: 17T Pro owners who work outdoors or simply drop their phone often. There is no version for the 17T in our range.
3. Bizon Case Tur: rugged for both models
The best rugged case for the Xiaomi 17T
The Tur is made of 2 mm thick flexible TPU with a microfiber lining inside. Grooves on the back and in the corners act like air cushions, and the textured sides help you keep a firm grip on the phone.
There is a raised frame around the camera island with separate cutouts for the lenses, and the edge around the display is slightly raised. You can choose from six colors: from black and navy blue to burgundy and red.

Neither of these phones has built-in magnets, so a case with a magnetic ring is the only way to attach a car mount or a magnetic wallet. Here, however, the two models differ fundamentally.
- The Xiaomi 17T does not have wireless charging. The ring in the case is therefore only useful for accessories: car mounts, stands and magnetic wallets. You cannot charge the phone on any wireless charger, with or without a case.
- The Xiaomi 17T Pro charges wirelessly at up to 50 W. Xiaomi quotes this figure for its own HyperCharge charging and sells the wireless charger separately. Don’t count on the full 50 W on a universal wireless charger, but the ring in the case will center the phone on a magnetic charger.

Best budget cases for the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro
A cheap case does not have to mean weak protection. The three cheapest items in the ranking are three different types:

How to choose a case for the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro
Camera protection
Both phones have the same trio of Leica cameras in an island that protrudes above the back. It is the first thing to touch the table when you put the phone down screen up. Look for a raised frame around the camera island in the description. Most cases in this ranking have one.
Also pay attention to the type of cutout. Separate cutouts for each lens (Salpa, Tur, Soft Case) protect the lens glass better. A single full cutout for the whole island (MatteO, Pocket) leaves room for camera protectors such as the Bizon Glass Lens for 17T Pro or 3mk Lens Protection for 17T.
Wireless charging
This is the most important difference between the models. According to Xiaomi’s specifications, the Xiaomi 17T charges only by wire (67 W), so a note saying “compatible with wireless charging” in the description of a 17T case is irrelevant.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro charges wirelessly at up to 50 W. In that case, choose a case whose manufacturer confirms compatibility with wireless charging, e.g. 3mk Armor MagCase, 3mk Clear Case, 3mk Matt Case, Bizon Tur or Soft Case. Avoid metal plates stuck under the case, because they block charging.

Compatibility with screen protectors
The lip of the case must not lift the edges of the screen protector. Bizon states in its descriptions the maximum size of a screen protector that will fit under its case, and screen protectors labeled “Case Friendly” have a narrower outline.
