Both models have similar screens, but the Galaxy Z Fold 5 gained the advantage by not having a notch on the home screen, which improves the user experience. Both displays offer adaptive refresh rates, but the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a higher refresh range on the outer screen (48-120 Hz) compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 (11-120 Hz).

In terms of design, the changes are cosmetic, with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 available in classic black, beige and pastel blue. On the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the lenses on the back island stood out less than on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the flash has also been moved to the back.

TheGalaxy Z Fold 5 runs on a newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, which brings benefits in performance and photo processing. Both models have 12GB of RAM, but the Galaxy Z Fold 5 introduces the newer UFS 4.0 storage standard, available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities.

Both models have a 4400 mAh battery, but with the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 should be more energy efficient. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 offers a maximum wired charge of 25 watts, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 had a 45-watt charge.

Many users were hoping for a dedicated space for a stylus in the case, but in the end Samsung decided not to introduce this feature in the latest model. Instead, the manufacturer introduced a special Slim S Pen Case to accommodate the stylus, but it is not the same as the built-in slot.

All in all, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has provided users with improvements in design, performance and image quality. It is definitely a step forward for those looking for an advanced and innovative device that provides the best visual experience and functionality.
