The smartphone supports 90 W fast wired charging, allowing it to charge from 0 to 100% in just over 30 minutes. Moreover, POCO F7 also supports 22.5 W reverse charging – useful when you want to charge other devices, such as headphones or a smartwatch.

Performance and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor

The heart of the POCO F7 is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor – a new Qualcomm chip manufactured using 4 nm lithography by TSMC. It is the first smartphone available globally with this chip.

The processor features one Cortex-X4 core (3.21 GHz) and seven Cortex-A720 cores, as well as next-generation Adreno graphics. It works with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring fast performance in both gaming and everyday tasks.

In AnTuTu tests, the POCO F7 achieves impressive scores exceeding 2.4 million points – a level comparable to many top models from 2024. Additionally, it features an advanced Ice Loop 3D liquid cooling system with a surface area of 6000 mm², supported by Xiaomi’s Rage Engine 4.0 software.

How big is the display on POCO F7?

POCO F7 is equipped with a flat LTPS display measuring 6.83 inches diagonally and a resolution of 1.5K (2772 × 1264 px) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel, made using M9 technology, provides very high image quality and peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. The screen has also been calibrated at 100 and 600 nits, enhancing its readability in various lighting conditions.

It also features very thin bezels – 1.5 mm on three sides and 1.9 mm at the bottom. Under the screen, there is an optical fingerprint reader.

Cameras

What cameras does POCO F7 have? Does it take good photos?

The smartphone features a dual main camera housed in a sturdy metal module. The main sensor is a Sony LYT600 unit with a resolution of 50 MP and optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera.

On the front, there is a 20 MP selfie camera, which performs well for both video calls and portrait photos. A light ring with adjustable brightness surrounds the camera module.

Is the casing of POCO F7 solid?

POCO F7 weighs 219 grams and has dimensions of 163.1 × 77.93 × 7.98 mm. The casing with a metal middle frame has increased pressure resistance – according to the manufacturer, it can withstand up to 70 kg of load.

Noteworthy are the resistance certifications: IP66, IP68, and IP69. Such protection guarantees complete resistance to dust, water, and high-pressure streams, making the F7 one of the most durable smartphones in its class.

The phone supports the latest connectivity standards: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and has an infrared (IR) port. It also features stereo speakers with spatial effects and Wet Hand 2.0 functionality, allowing the screen to be operated with a wet finger.
