You probably already guess what this is about.

A TV for a smartphone?

By purchasing the LG G7 ThinQ in pre-sale at Play network, you can get an LG 43UK6300 TV (whose current value in stores is about 2 thousand zlotys) in the set, of course with the model note ThinQ, which is a hallmark of the new products from the Korean giant, which feature artificial intelligence – they adapt to user behaviors and recognize their speech.

How does it look with other major operators? Unfortunately, we cannot count on such a big “gift,” but a pleasant addition might be a 24-inch computer monitor (which can also function as a TV) LG 24MT49VF.

Pre-sale in retail stores looks different, and a Sphero BB 9E robot will be added to the new acquisition – an ideal solution for Star Wars fans.

However, for everyone who decides to purchase the LG G7 ThinQ on the Polish market, the manufacturer offers a one-year display warranty, which also entitles you to a one-time replacement if you damage it yourself.

LG G7 ThinQ Specifications

Many data from the leaks have been confirmed, namely, among others, a 6.1-inch very bright screen with QHD+ resolution with, of course, a notch, glass back, wireless charging, Snapdragon 845 – basically everything a flagship model should have. Unfortunately, a stronger battery is missing, but here we see stagnation among most manufacturers – the new LG offers only 3000mAh.

It can be boldly stated that LG has greatly shocked with its basic addition to the smartphone in pre-sale, but this was to be expected in the era of adding, for example, a console in the case of Sony. In terms of size and price, the move by the Koreans will be hard to beat, but we are very curious about what other manufacturers will offer in the future.

A few days ago, Xiaomi unveiled 3 new smartphones: Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, Xiaomi Mi 8, and Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition. Today, we will focus mostly on the last two.

Mi 8 fully deserves the title of a flagship

The latest devices deserve admiration from the tech world. Mi 8 SE will be an ideal choice when it comes to the mid-range class – it is characterized by an almost perfect price-to-quality ratio. Mi 8 is a worthy competitor to devices like the Huawei P20 or Samsung Galaxy S9.

The last of the presented devices breaks away from the template in design. It is the Explorer Edition that stands out with features like a transparent back, an in-screen fingerprint reader with pressure recognition, and face unlocking.

When choosing between Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explorer Edition, we must be aware that the former will lack some features. Additionally, if you want to buy the SE model, remember that it has a smaller screen by almost 0.4 inches and a slightly weaker Snapdragon 710 processor.

A word about the specifications

The Chinese giant has outdone itself in designing its new phones. The Mi 8’s specifications look very promising. The smartphone has the following dimensions: 154.9 x 74.8 x 7.6 mm and weighs 175 grams. It also features a 6.21-inch AMOLED display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Speaking of the front panel, it’s worth mentioning the resolution. It’s quite modest for 2018 – FULL HD+ (2248 x 1080) with a brightness level of 600 nits.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the MIUI overlay. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor (Mi 8 SE by Snapdragon 710) along with Adreno 630. Users will have the choice of 6 or 8 GB of RAM. There are also three built-in storage options: 64, 128, and 256 GB. As for the battery, there is also a distinction. Namely, the Explorer Edition has a 3000 mAh cell, while the Mi 8 has a 3400 mAh capacity (there is also support for Quick Charge 4+).

Regarding the camera, there is a dual lens – 12 Mpx with an f/1.8 aperture and 12 Mpx with an f/2.4 aperture. Here are the main features of the rear lens: optical image stabilization, dual-pixel autofocus, and a portrait mode supported by artificial intelligence. Incidentally, the Mi 8 scored as high as 105 points in the DxOMark test, which is more than the iPhone X. The front camera is 20 Mpx with an f/2.0 aperture.

Other features related to the device itself include: Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, dual-band GPS module (support for L1 and L5), GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM, NFC, fingerprint reader/face scanner, and USB-C port.

Mi 8 Explorer Edition deserves a separate piece

The management of the Chinese giant has repeatedly emphasized that the Explorer Edition is one of their most advanced smartphones. Aside from the technical parameters, the device stands out at first glance from the competition. This is, of course, about the transparent back, where the components used in the phone are visible.

While discussing this device, one cannot forget about the fingerprint reader, which is embedded in the front display. Additionally, a system known from iPhones, i.e., pressure recognition, has been applied here. Xiaomi boasts at every turn that this sensor generates a very low error rate, and its operation is lightning-fast.

The last thing worth mentioning is the camera system, which we first saw in the iPhone X. Xiaomi couldn’t be worse, so it developed its own “Face ID.” Thanks to it, we will be able to unlock the device as well as create animated emojis (something similar to Apple’s Animoji). It’s worth knowing that the Mi 8 Explorer Edition is the first Android smartphone that allows for three-dimensional face scanning.

Xiaomi Mi 8 – when and for how much can we buy it?

Once again, the Chinese giant has shown that it is capable of designing and producing a decent device for a reasonable price. Below we present the price list of the Xiaomi Mi 8.

It also significantly accelerates the corrosion process of metals (rusting). Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is a mid-range smartphone, but some of its parameters can be compared to flagship models. The strong points of this device undoubtedly include a capacious battery. But how does this phone compare to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4 model?

In terms of appearance, the devices are similar, the manufacturer maintained the width and thickness of the predecessor, but the Redmi Note 5 is longer. As for the display, it also benefited from the increased length. Its dimensions changed from 5.5” in Note 4 to 5.99” in Note 5. Besides the length, the display also significantly improved in quality, which is evident, among other things, by its much better viewing angles. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is nothing more than a slightly improved version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The first difference can be seen in the selfie camera. In Note 5 Pro, they decided to install a 20-megapixel front camera, which will likely appeal to people who like to take a lot of selfies. Another change between the models is the processor change from Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 to 636, which affects the performance increase of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Note 5 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM, up to a maximum of 6GB, whereas in Note 5, you’ll find only a max of 4 GB RAM. iPhone X Plus:

Rumors say that this model is to be equipped with the largest display in the history of iPhones, with a diagonal of 6.5 inches, made with OLED technology with a resolution of 1243x 2688. The X Plus model is also expected to have 4 GB of RAM, and its price is expected to be around 900-1000 dollars, which means that after adding taxes in Poland, we can talk about a device whose price will hover around five thousand zlotys. According to rumors, the device will get an improved iSight camera, which will allow for work in landscape mode. The smartphone is expected to be available on the market in three body colors, but whether this will actually be the case, time will tell.

iPhone 9:

Named so tentatively on the Internet because Apple has not officially confirmed the names of the new models. The iPhone 9 is expected to be the cheapest of the trio, as its price is expected to hover around 600-700 dollars, which means we can say about three thousand zlotys. Because its price is lower than the rest, it will be equipped with a 6.1-inch screen made with IPS technology. Interestingly, rumors say that the iPhone 9 will have only one camera, and the body will be made of aluminum. This, in turn, will affect the number of color variants in which this model is to appear.

iPhone X 2018:

If the leaks turn out to be true, the iPhone X 2018 will be equipped with a 5.8-inch screen made with OLED technology. The money we will have to spend to become its owner is roughly 800-900 dollars, which is approximately over four thousand zlotys.

It is also worth adding that with the purchase of new models, the customer is to receive a charger with a fast charging function. All will also be equipped with a notch and face ID. Will the rumors come true? Will the company actually lower the cost of purchasing iPhones just to gain new customers? We will find out soon, and for now, we have nothing left but to wait for the official presentation of the new iPhone models.

Soon, at the end of October, the premiere of the new smartphone from OnePlus. It is a Chinese company engaged in the production of phones. The new flagship is to be called OnePlus 6T, which is causing a lot of excitement among technology fans. There are speculations about the appearance, functions, and internal equipment of the device. There are also many leaks but also unconfirmed rumors on this topic. In this article, I will try to gather all the information we know so far about the OnePlus 6T.

The appearance holds few secrets for us, as the smartphone has already appeared in many visualizations and renders. The OnePlus 6T is to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a fingerprint reader built into the front panel. The display will also feature a popular notch, but in an unusual shape – in the shape of a small, aesthetic teardrop. Interestingly, the smartphone has been deprived of the 3.5mm jack connector.

According to rumors, the OnePlus 6T will be equipped with similar components to its older brother – the OnePlus 6. It will feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system. The equipment will also include 8GB of RAM, and depending on the version, 64, 128, or 256GB for files. Although there is plenty of built-in memory for data, it is also worth remembering when purchasing that the OnePlus 6T will probably not have a microSD memory card reader.

An important piece of information for Android enthusiasts, but not only, is that the device will work with the latest Android 9 Pie with the Oxygen OS overlay. Rumors also say that the manufacturer is still working on renewing the interface and gesture system. The OnePlus 6T battery will have 3700mAh.

Many changes will also take place regarding the cameras in the device. The device is to offer us two main sensors, including one with a resolution of 12 Mpix with a variable aperture of f/1.5-f/2.4.

We have the premiere of the successor to the iconic Huawei Mate 10 Pro – Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It is characterized by its unique appearance, interesting technical solutions, and most importantly, excellent performance. As a company representative stated at the premiere in London – Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the best of the Chinese company’s devices so far. What else do we know about it? What does it look like? What is hidden inside? This article will bring you closer to the specifications of this model.

The phone has an incredibly attractive appearance. It is expected to be available in several color variants: including pink gold and twilight. The dimensions of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro are 157.20 x 72.30 x 8.60 mm. The bezels on the front of the device are extremely narrow, which allows for a diagonal display size of 6.39 inches. The screen is made using OLED technology, and its resolution is 1140×3120 pixels. It can be immediately acknowledged that the display in the Huawei Mate 20 Lite features very good color reproduction and proper contrast.

The fingerprint reader in the Mate 20 Pro is located in the screen, but it is not visible as it is located directly beneath it. However, the problem may be that it occupies only a small part of the screen, making it difficult to hit without looking.

One thing that undoubtedly catches the eye is the arrangement of the cameras on the back of the device. Three cameras and one flash are arranged in a 2×2 system, which looks very interesting. It deserves praise that Huawei does not copy the layout/design of the back panel from other companies’ devices, but creates its own, original solutions. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the front panel, which is a copy of many current smartphones – referring to the ubiquitous notch.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is equipped with face unlock features, which are based not only on the camera but also on a module that builds a face map. The manufacturers stated that they are confident enough in their technology that, in addition to standard use for unlocking the device, it can also be used for payments, logging into banks, etc.

The Mate 20 Pro will run on Android 9.0 Pie. The device is equipped with the latest processor used in Android smartphones, the Kirin 980. It also has 6 or 8 GB of RAM and, depending on the version, 128 or 256 GB for user files. Interestingly, Huawei decided to give users the option to expand the memory of their Mate 20 Pro via a nanoSD memory card.

The battery capacity is 4200 mAh and it can also be charged wirelessly. What distinguishes this battery is the ability for super-fast charging – in half an hour, the battery is expected to be charged to 70 percent thanks to the 40-watt charger included in the package. The Mate 20 Pro can also function as a wireless charger – for a watch, headphones, or another smartphone that supports wireless charging.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro does not have a headphone jack, but it does have a USB-C port intended for charging the smartphone. It also supports all the latest wireless connectivity standards, including LTE and NFC (used for wireless payments).

On one hand, the device has so many interesting features and is equipped with such good components that it is clear what you are paying for. However, will it win over the market and top the popularity rankings? That is still unknown, and whether it is worth buying must be decided by each individual.
