From the latest leaks about the iPhone 12, we have learned about the arrangement of magnets that are to be inside the phone’s casing. The arrangement is supposed to consist of 36 magnets located under the back panel. This may suggest that Apple is creating a new inductive charging system for its devices, which will also allow for easier mounting of the device in a car holder. If this information is confirmed, the arrangement of magnets will likely be perfectly matched to Apple’s wireless chargers and dedicated car mounts. Charging the latest models of Apple phones will thus be even more comfortable. The magnets will certainly also be used in car mounts for even better mounting of the phone in them. Using the new models of Apple smartphones will be even more enjoyable.
Along with the presence of magnets inside the casing, one can also expect special charging mats from Apple. They would probably be used for wireless charging of Apple devices. The magnets placed in the iPhone 12 could also be used to charge AirPods and Apple Watch when brought close to the back of the phone. Such a solution was supposed to be developed already, but due to certain imperfections, it has not yet appeared in the previous generation of Apple phones. Only with the iPhone 12 model is it expected to appear on the market and be presented to all customers.
However, this information is still not confirmed, and we will probably only learn the final application of the magnets on the day of the release. It is said that this year Apple will present as many as 4 new phone models with 3 display sizes. Some rumors also say that the new models will not be presented simultaneously but will be released gradually. For now, however, we can only wait for the official releases, where we will learn the exact appearance of the devices, their exact specifications, and all the features offered by the new devices.
