But how does this phone compare to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4 model?
In terms of appearance, the devices are similar, the manufacturer maintained the width and thickness of the predecessor, but the Redmi Note 5 is longer. Besides the length, the display also significantly improved in quality, which is evident, among other things, by its much better viewing angles. Furthermore, Xiaomi decided to enhance the user experience by transitioning from angular shapes to slightly more rounded ones. They also abandoned the functional buttons under the screen in favor of on-screen buttons. The same goes for the cameras. Their specifications also show significant progress in favor of Note 5.
