The latest Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models were presented in China in mid-December 2022, giving us a range of information about their appearance and specifications
The founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, informed the world on his Twitter that the premiere of the latest flagships is to take place on February 26. This event is to take place during the MWC fair in Barcelona. The premiere will feature the basic version of the Xiaomi 13 model and the enhanced Pro version.
What do we know about the specifications of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro?
Xiaomi 13 has an E6 AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.36 inches and a screen resolution of 2400×1080, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and brightness reaching a maximum of 1900 nits. The phone has 3 cameras. The main camera has 50 MP (aperture f/1.8, Hyper OIS stabilization), assisted by a 12 MP wide-angle camera (120°, f/2.2) and a 10 MP camera (f/2.0) providing 3.2x optical zoom. On the front, there is a 32 MP camera (f/2.0). The battery is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery and fast charging of 67 W, 50W inductive charging, and 10W reverse charging. The phone features interesting design and a wide selection of intense and vivid colors such as yellow, green, red, or blue.
Both Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro also provide excellent performance thanks to the use of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. Both models have the Android 13 operating system with the MIUI 14 overlay.
Both cases have waterproof housings, certified IP68, as well as NFC and the latest available Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standards.
Xiaomi 13 Pro is available in more delicate and subdued colors (black, white, green, and blue). The case and screen, unlike the basic version, where the smartphone has a flat screen and evenly cut sides, in the Pro version have a rounded case and screen. Xiaomi 13 Pro has a larger E6 AMOLED LPTO screen with a diagonal of 6.73 inches and a screen resolution of 3200×1440, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and brightness up to 1900 nits. Three cameras including the main one: 1-inch sensor 50.3 MP (f/1.9) Laser AF, Dual Pixel PDAF with optical image stabilization, 50 MP (f/2.2), 50 MP (f/2.0) providing zoom up to 3.2x. Xiaomi 13 Pro, in addition to a larger display, also has a larger 4820 mAh battery and even faster charging – 120W. Wireless and reverse charging remain the same.
