It’s been almost a year since the launch of AirPods Pro, and the latest rumor was that Apple would not release a new Pro version of the headphones until the second quarter of 2021. Meanwhile, we have received interesting information from one of the suppliers about a new product that appears to be a successor to the basic model of the American giant’s wireless headphones. We are talking about the AirPods 3 model, although the name is not confirmed. According to our source, the launch could take place as early as next week.
Photos and a render shot suggest that the new model will have a more compact charging case as well as the headphone design itself. One puzzling feature is the bottom of the charging case, which may indicate an oddly placed LED battery indicator or a place for a lanyard/strap, which is also out of style for Appe. The lack of sealing rubber bands may suggest that they will not have an active noise cancellation function. We think the main selling point for this model may be the price. In the last two years, the competition in the TWS headphone segment has grown incredibly, delivering better and better sound quality at a sensational price.
